Go get him Fred! Make sure he knows how great Cyclone fans are and how big a star he'll be in Ames

Hogue is the most likely to commit from what I can tell. From there, who knows. Would love for it to be Washington, Walker or Hunter

Yeah, I'd love to get Hogue and Washington. After that it would be great to have Hunter and possibly another JuCo so we could still have at least 3 schollies open for 2014. I just don't know if that's possible.

That's awesome if Fred really was there. Have to feel pretty good about our connection there. I just hope we can get a breakthrough with Washington, he seems pretty quiet about Iowa State as a whole but I'd love to see that change. A visit soon would be ideal.

All of this depends on Bubu's situation. His court date is set for Sept 24th at 1 p.m. If he isn't guilty and isn't kicked off the team we will have 3 more available scholarships to give for the 2013 class and then 3 total scholarships to give for the 2014 class. This would be the best case scenario obviously because Bubu would be on the team still, and also because it would balance out the classes better having 3 available scholarships for the 2014 class. If he is guilty and is kicked off we will have 4 more available scholarships to give for the 2013 class and will have 2 total available scholarships to give to the 2014 class. So it all really depends on the Bubu situation i think.

How high are the odds that Dustin Hogue is our next commit and is it likely for him to decide very soon after his upcoming visit?

I would say very likely. He has had 2 unofficial visits in the past couple months. He will be on his official visit the weekend of Sept 29th for the Tech game. He is teammates/friends with Richard Amardi who just signed with us. Also i haven't heard anything about him being interested in any other school or setting up any visits with any other schools. I would say he will be committed the first week of October.

Fred must be cooling on Vaughn. How come we are not doing an in-home visit with him

yeah, but this is not the same as an in-home visit. In-home visits include talking to him and his parents and talking about what would happen if he came to their school
