So i know we are in Washington's top 7. Has he set up a visit yet to Iowa State?

I think Hogue will be our next commitment. His coach said him and Amardi get along well which i think will help our chances with him. Also he has been on 1 or 2 unofficial visits in the past couple of months. His official visit is set for the weekend of Sept 28th. I think we will get a commitment shortly after that.

Does anyone know if we are still high or we have cooled on Hassan Martin, Byron Ziegler, or Martez Walker? Also are there any other known targets that we are high on?

I would be shocked if we don't get a visit from Washington

Hopefully during the Texas Tech game. And hopefully Amardi sets up his official visit that same weekend so that Washington can meet 2 possible teammates. Might as well tell Thomas to come on down too for his 27th visit. ha.

I saw it mentioned EC Mathews was at the Iowa State/Iowa game last weekend as a guest of the Hawks. I had also read at one time where Fred and crew had some interest in him. Are they still recruiting him or have they moved on?

I think they moved on after Monte, I may be mistaken though.

We are still pursuing Vince Hunter and will be seeing him today or tomorrow (via. Twitter).

Yep according to recruitlists.com: Michigan, Oakland, Depaul, UTEP, Iowa, Iowa State, Dayton, Memphis, and Long Beach State watched him work out in the past couple of days.

Yes Bubu is on Scholly until this thing shakes out. Remember he is not guilty in real courts. Just the court of opinion that he is guilty until proven innocent and I am pretty sure our coaches go by the real courts. Unless you are Tim Floyd then you skirt the real courts until your player is a senior and the season is over.

It's only a matter of time before he's convicted and loses his scholly unfortunately. At least from what I've read. You can't fight DNA.

Yeah I know. Just stating the Scholly situation and why he is still on scholly. I fully expect the worse with Bubu which is sad. My 8 year old daughter loves Bubu and showed his picture off at school that she took with him last year. I think I will just tell her he graduated and does not play for ISU anymore. I think that is the best way to handle it. It's hard telling an 8 year old that her favorite player did a scumbag thing.
