Doesn't cheesedick owe us a bunch of money still? Now he can make bigger payments to us. He may not be as rich as most of you are saying. Which is awesome.

Hire a guy that we want nothing to do with, who hasn't been a D-Line coach, to take a spot from somebody who's doing all right?

No way Chiz is coming here. No way anybody wants that or puts up with that.

You are way too nice. Seriously.

First, while I'm sure he's a dead duck at AU, the university prez. is being proactive, assuming Chizeldick and the Auburns close the year as predicted. The hammer might not be dropped for a week or two. I suppose if Ga and 'bama were all hit by food poisoning or lightning or something, Geno could weasel out another year. Secondly, where do those schools down there get their money? To be able to pony up 7.5 mil (or whatever figure it might be when the 'less than 6 wins' thing kicks in) at pretty much the drop of a hat takes some serious football crazy 1%ers.

He has a clause in his contract in regard to his buyout that if he didn't win a minimum of 6 games (IIRC) his buyout is significantly reduced. That sweet payday he was counting on for being a horrible coach... yeah... probably going to lose about half of it.

Does that mean he won't have enough money to buy back my Chizik coins? I was counting on them being worth SOMETHING down the road. Now it looks as bleak as his future. So sad, crocodile tears are forming somewhere I just know.

How about Rhoads hires him as a D-Line coach?

Doesn't this mean he will be a HC for another SEC team within a year or two? No worries for Eugene.

I don't know. As arrogant as this guy is who the heck would bring him on their staff. Besides I'm sure Genie still thinks he is the most awesomest coach in the whole wide world so he wouldn't stoop to being an assistant coach would he. Screw him, I hope he never coaches again and ends up working for his assistant coach who is selling cars that Gene left high and dry.

I wonder if they still have those annual fishing trips that they use to go on and talk about how they could conquer the football world.

Has anyone ever won a national title and then fired less than 2 years later? It takes some special talent to suck that bad...and Chizik was just the person.

Chizik has always been able to bring in talent but has to be one of the worst game day preparation/coaches out there.

I wouldn't be surprised if Chizik ended up with a pretty decent broadcasting gig somewhere. He's reasonably well-spoken relative to some of the other commentators who somehow managed to end up on TV. Maybe Mack Brown can get him a job on LHN...

Karma is such a real thing, I know other people who treat others like **** and they always get it worse think they would learn.

So if Karma is real, and you are taking pleasure in the misfortune of others, does that mean that Karma will come back and get you by causing you a misfortune that others can take pleasure in? Sounds like an ugly, never-ending circle...

Remember...remember that one time I was the Longhorn's DC and I coached Aaros Ross and Michael Huff and they both won the Jim Thorpe award? That...that was awesome
