:twitcy:Despite Jonna's rantings, my husband is convinced that Chiz not only bought Scam Newton, but made a deal with Satan for the National Championship and didn't read the fine print.

It's not the Gene didn't read the fine print, he tried to pull a fast one. Gene sold his soul to Satan knowing that he never had one in the first place. Satan is just getting his revenge.

Question to fellow Chizik haters: Should I make my Facebook status, "Ding dong, the Chiz is gone!"?

The crappy thing is that his buyout is probably huge, so he's gets fired, but walks away with a huge pay day!

Guess Auburn is no longer firmly entrenched with Gene!

Anybody know how we might be able to contact Chiz (twitter, etc) and rub a little salt in the wound? (no, i wouldn't actually do it, just like thinking about doing it!)

He has a clause in his contract in regard to his buyout that if he didn't win a minimum of 6 games (IIRC) his buyout is significantly reduced. That sweet payday he was counting on for being a horrible coach... yeah... probably going to lose about half of it.

Doesn't this mean he will be a HC for another SEC team within a year or two? No worries for Eugene.

The reason we don't like Chizik is because he is a scum bag just like Calipari. People on here hate him too even though we have no ties to him. Chizk is that except he now has ties to ISU plus he treated us like crap. He made ISU look bad by going 5-19. People look at ISU after he wins the title at Auburn and say, "Wow ISU is a crap place." For him to fail is a huge success in the favor of ISU. It shows the issue was not ISU, it shows it was the leadership of a terrible person.

Ol' Chiz had a good run didn't he. Made it to the top of the mountain but that trip back down is a little steeper than he thought.

I'll make you all a deal. Pay me the $7.5 million that is owed Chizik. You can then bad mouth and hate me for any reason real or imagined. Think about it people! Geno has to laughing all the way to the bank. If he gets totally bored he can go find a job as a d coordinator. In the meantime, he can enjoy having financial security for life that most of us will only dream of having.

Ya, no I don't think so. He is rich but also a failure. Coaches want to be successful. Losing is failing and being fired is embarrassing. I bet he is deeply depressed at his failure.

That cost a lot of money for one national championship. Auburn would probably say it was worth it.

He's not like Calipari. Calipari can coach and Calipari can win. The Chiz can fail and that's about it.

JP screwed up. He should have had the same clause. Maybe he would have had more urgency than going out and hiring his fishing buddies.
