Interesting, where is the thread I would like to see what his dad said because it is beyond pathetic the lack of touches he has gotten.
My new stance on promoting from within. Just because Mess is the best guy at making french fries does not mean he is ready to take on the entire burger assembly line. When you loose your burger guy you need another burger guy when you make the fries guy make burger then you get bad burger and bad fries. When you got bad burgers and bad fries you go out of business and turn into a drive through mexican restaraunt. We can't let ISU football turn into a drive through mexican restaraunt!!!!
I'd love to see Shontrelle line up in the slot as the jet guy. White in the backfield with Shontrelle coming in motion would force some honesty from linebackers.
And you can't tell me Shontrelle can play a worse slot in the passing game than Aaron Horne has shown.
In fairness, the jet sweep is the worst play in NCAA Football 2012.God, this is a great idea.
So, like 0% chance of it happening. I don't think Mess knows that jet plays are legal. Like Herman and RB screens.

Regarding the balance issue, we have passed 51% of the time and rushed 49% of the time. It's hard to get much more evenly split than that.
I did some quick number crunching, and across all BCS teams so far this season the average split is 54% rush, 46% pass. There are 17 teams so far this season that have rush >= 60% of the time (11 are from either the Big10 or SEC). There are both good teams (Alabama, KSU, Oregon) on that list and bad teams (Auburn, Kansas, Temple). Winners of the consistency award so far this year are Georgia Tech (81% rushing plays) and Washington State (28% rushing plays). Looking at conference splits, the Big 12 and PAC-12 are the most pass-happy conferences, each throwing 48% of the time. They are followed closely by the ACC at 47%, then the Big East and SEC at 44% and finally the Big 10 at 43%.
