Haha, just giving you a hard time. I actually felt the same way you did about that Texas game. Never thought we would lose that one. Also, that line for Drake was impossible to pass up.

I know. The ribbing doesn't bother me. Especially since it's the only time I've been wrong on here.

This line is dead on. I'd pro ably take Iowa at this
I'll take Iowa on the moneyline as an insurance bet. If ISU loses I'll make a few bucks. If ISU wins it's like I bought a victory, which is fine with me.

I think our guards are better than theirs. ISU wins going away.

Sportsbook.eu or eg something like that. This is no cakewalk guys, Iowa is a solid team.

Simple response:

No, they aren't.

Being unathletic, poor defensively, and unable to shoot from the outside is a ****** group of team attributes.

Most (all?) of Iowa's starters have had a year together, and didn't they play in the NIT last year? We have two starters from last year, last year's 6th and 7th man in Booker and McGee, and then KL and Clyburn, who can light it up. I think we've got better talent, but they'll have solid teamplay. And its at Carver. I think it'll be close, but I'd probably put my money on ISU.

Iowa is starting 3 freshman. I'm not for sure on this, but I don't think they played together last year in the NIT.

Well, it is their Superbowl. So i'd be a little worried.

Iowa has potential to be a pretty good basketball team in two or three years, and i think they're more athletic than many here will give them credit for. Young teams with potential like this play inconsistently, but generally play better at home. The Hawks are a hungry team, probably not happy about being beaten three years in a row, and I am concerned about our turnovers on the road.

I'd stay away from betting on this game altogether, but if i were betting, i'd probably take the ISU side of the line.

If the spread stays under 3, most sites won't have a moneyline.

The Drake ISU game from last year stopped me from going big on St Mary's -2 against Drake last night, unfortunately.

Surprised to see more than a few think we lose. I just don't see it so it will be a big disappointment, but a bigger concern that a crappy program like Iowa has made strides to at least catch us.

CW was right; turnovers, turnovers, turnovers. If ISU can do what they do well and most of all limit the turnover bugaboo, they look good for this game. If they gift wrap the orange for the squawks it may be a long night.

According to this line, we'd be favorites on a neutral floor. I think ISU will and should win but in rivalry games like these you just never know.
