When Urbandale played Valley a couple of weeks ago they showed Peter Jok (a 6-7 Iowa basketball commit) going up for a jam, and Lazard going up and stuffing him. Lazard can jump out of the gym doing highlight jams.

His dad played here and his brother currently does

Not to bring up a sore subject, but HB's dad played at ISU, his mom worked at ISU, and he hung out with all the guys on the team. We need to keep recruiting Allen every bit as hard even though he has a verbal to us.

Very true. Rhoads needs to stay on him much like he did with Campos.

Minor difference.....HB never verbally committed to Iowa State.

Now I agree with you that we need to keep recruiting Allen and we will. But it seems obvious that this kid has a different demeanor than HB by the fact he committed so early.

Barnes probably would have committed to Fred. Lazard wouldn't have committed to Chizik.

Surprised with so many football players, the low number that get 5 stars.

More surprised that a 200 pound very fast receiver as #1 does not pull 5 stars. Someone may be pulling a nasty on the rating.

That's brilliant. I wonder if the coaches have thought of that...

not necessarily. There was only 1 5-star WR in this year's top 100. The number two guy was both big and fast.

Have only seen a little film on him, but does anyone know if he can go down field and get the ball/

nope. That's the main reason why he's not a 5 star. He just doesn't know how. You ask him to run a fly route, and when the ball is hiked, he just stands there.

I believe you forgot this.... :jimlad:

I sure as heck hope not. Frankly, if you needed a :jimlad: to recognize that as sarcasm, then you probably don't have a pulse.
