Nantz mentioned that Cooley for ND had a girlfriend who was from Des Moines (Iowa State campus location). But I did not see her at the game, so I can't verify that.

Iowa State is a talented team but I think they're not nearly as great a 3 point shooting team as they've been hyped up to be.

They don't have anyone I believe shooting over 39% from deep and as a team they're shooting 37.2%, which is 44th in the nation. They do lead the nation in 3 point attempts, so just an observation but the quantity doesn't seem to match the quality IMO.

It'll be weird seeing Korie Luscious on their squad too.

They obviously don't know who Tyrus McGee is.
