More information on the way games are installed. You will need to authenticate online with every game to install it. If you loan the game to a friend or bring the game to a friend's house, that person would have to pay a fee to play it on a different Xbox One. Also looks like they are going to setup their own used/trade-in system through XBL. The never ending debate about whether you actually own the software you purchase on the disc will intensify.

Some more clarification from Phil Harrison about the online requirements

Things I didn't like:

The name - but that won't matter for more than a year since everyone will call it just "Xbox" by then.

The preview video for "quantum break" - mixing live actors (terrible actors at that) with non-sensical gameplay just left me confused.

Mandatory kinetic integration - although the voice recognition and swiping gestures looked like they worked well. I assume you can bypass voice/gesture commands using the controller, I just don't like the idea of communicating with a third device to make the console function.

Vague TV integration and programming - this was going to be the big selling point to me and they came up just short. I wanted more details about what specific NFL content they will provide, and maybe hint at more services on the way (Showtime app?).

Things I liked:

8 brand new and exclusive games at launch - now we're talking. Odds are good that at least one of these titles could be the next big franchise and help MS gain some ground on Sony when it comes to exclusive offerings.

Original programming - I am not a Halo fan, but MS commitment to original programming could be the start of something great. Is it possible that Xbox live could become a new IP-based cable provider?

Controller - they fixed the D-pad! Now all is right in the world.

I still think Sony is winning the initial next-gen console war, but Microsoft just made this upcoming E3 the biggest event of the year... and Nintendo won't even be there.

So if I rent a game, I'll have to pay a second fee to play it?
I'll need to be wowed by new games or I'll just wait a couple years and buy it when they've worked all the bugs out.

Coming from a "microsoft fanboy",, 5/6 of all the crap they announced i'll NEVER use.... i am completely disappointed and put off by all the crap they announced today.

Hopefully it still plays games :) (I'm sure i'll still buy it though.. i can't stand the playstation controllers)

Just got done watching some of the videos. I really don't know if I will buy this one or not. Like others I wasn't all that blown away from the announcements and I'm going to have less time in the coming years for gaming than in the past. I may be sticking with my 360.

I keep thinking of Destiny and how much I'm looking forward to hearing more about it. I know one game series shouldn't be the reason I buy this new Xbox, but I know there will be more games I'd buy including BF4.

Thats the thing. Either way its going to play games. I mean ultimately i know i'll end up with an xbox one just because i know i'll want to play halo 5 whenever it releases. The long term expensive question will be if the ps4 can sell me on having both consoles again next round. I like some of what sony has coming in games, when i didnt play a lot of games on my ps3. I still hate the PS3 controller though.

The real thing is, no game they have today is going to really show off the XbOne. Remember some of the early 360 games? Lightyears behind what developers have managed to get out of the 360 today.

Have both of the current consoles, but the way the 360 keeps ******** the bed, I can't see myself going that route again. I also rent a lot of games, so the authenticity issue might ruin that for me. Is Sony talking about doing something similar?

Id wait to buy either, maybe 6 months or so. But I'll be getting a PS4, not an xbox guy.

So the PS4 reveal is on June 10, and then they both will go on sale in the late fall I would guess (probably November). Wonder how the prices will compare.

I think I will do the same; the earliest that I would think about buying either Xbox One or PS4 is probably July 2014 so I can buy NCAA Football '15 at the same time. Give them both time to work out kinks in manufacturing and maybe some sort of price cut by then.

PS4 has the edge thus far, better hardware and they at least showed some games! Then again I hardly care, I'll probably eventually end up buying whatever system all my idiot friends go for just so I can play with them some. The vast majority of my gaming time is and will continue to be spent among the glorious pc master race.

I dont know if Im sold on Sony's upper hand in hardware. It still has to produce games that maximize it. They are fairly close in comparison but handle information differently in other ways. Its up to the developers at this point.
