Pow! Zing! Boy, you guys really got me there! How can I ever recover?

I think Lazard goes to ISU for all the reasons already discussed ad nauseum. There's also the fact that that's where he says he's going and you have to take the young man at his word (and keep recruiting the hell out of him). Additionally, Notre Dame has verbals from 2 4-star wide receivers and signed 2 4-star wide receivers last year. Lazard can probably start right away at ISU while there's no way he does at ND.

I really hope Lazard goes to Iowa State. It would be great to watch him for 4 years and I do think those years will coincide with continuously increasing talent and depth levels. There will be more wins and I really believe that 4 years from now, Iowa State will be firmly entrenched as an 8-win per season minimum program. I think Lazard will be a big part of that. Signing Lazard means more to the ISU program than it would to the ND program. That's why I wanted Iowa State to beat Notre Dame in basketball last year. The win meant more to the ISU program than a win would have meant to the ND program. Of course, I really didn't want the curb-stomping that occurred, but oh well.

Anyway, I won't check this for spelling, composition or grammar so that maybe some of you super-clever smart guys can whoop and holler over a misplaced comma, or something. My gift.

Stomped Oklahoma in Norman. Beat some other teams too, like Stanford, Miami of Ohio, Michigan, Southern Cal, etc.

WHAT? Notre Dame needed an interception (Which hit the ground but the Teo Factor held true) to seal the game and get a junk time touchdown to make that game look worse than it was.

And for the others, Stanford was a great win. Miami of ohio? come on. And USC had their starting QB out for that game they were a shell of their former (Average last year) self.

Nah-Just bored. and not a troll, either. Been going to cyclone games at least 1/year, usually more, for 25 years. Home and away. Saw Thurman Thomas against Clones in Oklahoma, Seneca etc. against Florida State, saw Davis's big day against Mizzou, coldest I've ever been was standing in the icy stands @ 15 years ago watching K-State stomp us by 40 or so, host a party at a game every year with my brother, used to try to pick out a game we had a reasonable chance to win, now any game because I think on a given day the Clones can beat anyone. Have an old Cy whiskey decanter we fill up and toast (till we're toasted) the football gods for a win and play Southern Culture on the Skids "Santo Swings" because that song pleases the football gods and, for some reason, the Clones usually win when we do that. Saw the dropped 2 point conversion against Nebraska, remember feeling relieved to salvage a tie whatever year it was we went 0-10-1, loved seeing Mac get a win in his last home game, especially when a bad call helped us (well-deserved karma). I've got a million great memories from Iowa State games.
I think that Iowa State has the best tailgating I've ever been to, although I've never been to the deep south.

Anyway, not a troll, an Iowa State fan.

And I meant to say Miami of Florida, not Ohio.

Go Clones

Playing for any certain school in the United States will not give you a better chance at the NFL over any other school. Playing well in an NFL camp will get you on a NFL team... Period. Your ND fan is an idiot. Playing in the Big12 will be playing against the best.

Playing in the Big10 for ND will mean nothing. Playing for the University he loves, and will/can leave a legacy at will mean everything.

They end. The man who claims to know everything, most likely knows nothing.

True Cyclone fans don't say "firmly entrenched" unless they are using it to mock what was said in association with it.
