Re: Rashad Vaughn
I have a hard time seeing RV looking for much more than a coach who can best ready him for the NBA, and a team that can surround him with some other good talent. Maybe thats way too simple minded of me.
Not much you can do to "Ready" guys like Vaughn for the NBA in just 1 year.
They want to showcase their skills to scouts and go as high as possible in the draft.
Anthony Bennett came in and did exactly what he wanted to do. Play an inside and outside PF. The staff let him play his game.
Anthony Bennett was a fringe lottery pick before UNLV. He became the #1 pick. Not because we "developed" him, but because he was able to play his game in a system that works for high paced scorers like him.
The product sells itself. I'd bet Vaughn is VERY interested in that.
As for talent around him...like I said. We have a 5-star SF already locked in with a 5-star center on our campus for an official on Sunday. That along with about 6 other former 3-4 star players that will be on the roster in 2014.
Just because they are out there doesn't mean they are worth a ****. shoot hawkeyenation is a freeboard, that doesnt mean i would want to read anything on that waste of a site.
Never said they were. I just said there are many of them..which divides the community. Rivals is probably the closest one to being the most active, but I don't even bother with the freeboard.
