after watching his senior tape, I think this is the best RB recruit we have got in a long time. he has enough frame to be a 200lb+ back, he has great vision and tremendous speed. we have really never had this kind of speed and size in one package at RB before. We may have gotten really lucky here with this kid.

I agree

I was watching his senior tape, then happened to click on the ISU-WVU game highlights. I was looking for something else, but seeing Charles Sims' runs reminded me of Warren, in terms of style, stride and speed. Of course, Sims is much bigger right now, and the level of competition is much different, but I couldn't help but note those similarities.

Dwayne Crutchfield. Ran like a deer, weighed 230ish.

Wow, what a day for CPR and welcome aboard to all 3. I'm with the crowd that thinks we'll be better off with Warren as a true rb than Mister, couldn't have worked out better. A taste of Hilton Magic probably didn't hurt.

Good Luck to Mister - Indiana leading rusher is a sophomore and will be there for 2 more years. Mister will be a junior before he sees significant time. Also, their line has not had a 1000 yard rusher since 2002 when Courtney Roby had 1000 yards - good luck in career choice mr mister.....

ISU has moved on to Mr Warren and by everything we've seen on tape, he's faced tougher competition and compiled a better resume. Nothing against Mister, but i really like Warren and in the Big12, speed is a commodity that we've seen with Bundrage is a necessity!

Welcome Mr Warren - hope your ready cuz cyclone fans are already pumped to have you and i cannot wait to see your coming out party at The Trice....

Sounds about the same as what you said would happen with Mike Marry. How'd that work out?

Nothing's set in stone. Good luck to Tommy, and how 'bout if we move on now?

Dwayne punished defenders. When he hit the open field he would often veer towards anyone between him and the goal line. Dwayne knocked people into next week. Phenomenal talent, minimal effort and commitment.

I'd be in favor of putting Levi Peters in on short yardage formations. I think he could do some damage as a lead blocker.

I think that's a damn good idea. Pretty sure Peters played some QB in HS, so he would be used to having the ball in his hands. Plus, he's a VERY physical player.

As far as Warren goes, I agree with a lot of people on here, that he's a step up from Mister. If Warren would have qualified earlier, he'd have a ton of offers and he likely wouldn't be signing with ISU. Thanks for backing out Tommy and have fun at Indiana!

This dude is a stud. Has speed with that upright running power and appears to have great vision. It's been a long long time since we've had back to back top 50 recruiting classes in fball. The next two years are critical for CPR. The losing season obviously didn't hurt recruiting but back to back might...Very pleased with these last two classes. I'm excited to see how the RS's from last years class have progressed. Have a feeling we will be seeing a ton of new faces on the two deep even though last years team was the youngest we've had in decades.

Didn't read anyone billing him being the next AP. Similarities are fairly apparent tho. Always gotta be a pessimist nearby, huh?

I'm not a pessimist, just excited. But now I'm confused. Some said he was like AP, but now he's not the NEXT AP? Well, could you please tell me how he is and isn't like AP? From reading the above posts, he has similar speed and running style, and has a 200+ pound frame. Sounds like a Cardinal Jesus to me!

I'm aware sarcasm is difficult to detect on a forum. The pessimist remark was made in that vain. I just think the pirate smiley is kinda cliche so I rarely use it. Anyway, since you asked, having similarities to, and being like AP is a far cry from being the next AP imo. Too early to say either way. But I, like you, am excited about the potential in Warren....I even agree that he's worthy of being mentioned in the same breath as a Cardinal Haysoos!

Take this with a big glass of Kool-Aid, you guys!

@Trey_Scott3: Me to Michael Warren: "Who, realistically, do you think you compare to?"
Mike Warren: "Adrian Peterson"
