I feel that people feel and over-analyze every microscopic thing wayyyyyy too much… The fact that we have little to no information to base our feelings on leads to wayyyy too much group think and wayyy to much insecurity...
Think of it this way, when you talking to a pretty lady and on a regular basis, someone you just met, and you send them a text… Waiting for 1 hour, 2 hours, 5 hours, anxiety builds and you start thinking this person really must not be into me, and it rattles your confidence. This is the state our fan base is in right now.
I know its really hard to do but if people just avoided this thread until Tuesday, it would help tame disappointment if he does not choose ISU. If he picks ISU it will be just as exciting whether we get to 15,000 posts by Sunday afternoon, or it stops at 1,100.

Out of all the things I want to hold out hope on....I don't believe this for a moment. I don't think he says he's announcing in the spring, then moving it up to late Feb., and now comes out early in the week tweeting he's happy to announce his decision this weekend (even tho now it's Tues. due to TV) and 'not' already know where he's going.

I'd feel better if we had blue chip commitments that he was close to that were recruiting him hard to ISU. I think that's a pretty significant advantage for UNLV.

He deserves a little more credit than that. He's their lead recruiting analyst with a nearly 80% success rate at calling these which is tops among all their "expert" contributors.

You mean the guy that switches his pick about 5 to 6 times on average for each recruit, yeah sorry I don't really respect that very much at all. It's kind of pathetic actually. He just follows where the wind blows. So, no I don't think he deserves any (more) credit at all.

Guys, I was going to come over and troll you about RV, but after reading through some of the posts I just can't bring myself to do it. I could certainly marshal a solid defense for UNLV and lay out the reasons I think Vaughn is going to choose UNLV (I think this is what is going to happen on Tuesday), but I'm not here to do any of that.
What I am here to do is to say that the future is bright with Hoiberg at the helm. I didn't pay much attention to him before this season, but after things started heating up with Vaughn I would catch ISU games whenever I could. After watching Hoiberg for just a few games all I can say is... Damn that dude can coach! That 3OT thriller the other night in Stillwater was legit! You guys have had a great season this year and Hoiberg has done a great job without any "true bigs" on the roster. I hope you guys continue to do well and come March I'll be rooting for the Cyclones to make a deep run.
