Let's try that again... I 100% agree. Tech played some great defense last night against Kansas and they have some excellent offensive players in both Tolbert and Crockett. Their big 7 footer also had an excellent night offensively. They grind the pace of the game down to a crawl which was clearly frustrating for the young Kansas players last night. It looked like it lulled Tharpe's brain into a coma and completely befuddled Perry Ellis, who was worthless. He got whipped time and time again on late shot clock switches and never shook off the fog at the offensive end. I haven't seen him play that bad in a while. Hats off to Tech for hitting so many clutch shots at the end of shot clocks. Most teams that try that don't end the possession getting good looks but Tech did. Even when they didn't they still seemed to hit tough shots on bad looks. They were pretty impressive.

What was the deal with Ellis last night? That was the strangest thing as he looked completely out of sorts for the first time I can ever recall. I like the kids game and he has been consistently their top performer in my opinion.

I wonder why the refs that were trying to win the game for Kansas called a foul on Embiid with 15 seconds to go that could have easily been a non-call and gave Tech the lead? Seems like an odd strategy.
Or why they didn't call a foul on the guy that slapped the ball out of Embiid's hands at the end of the game. That couls have EASILY been called a foul. Thank goodness Tech somehow forget all about Wiggins as he once again came all the way under the basket from the three point line to make a play.

Twocoach is a purple kansas fan just here to annoy us.
I think I annoy people just fine without being associated with that hideous color... My daughter's summer swim team colors are purple and I refuse to purchase a team shirt unless they make white ones because I won't wear that color.

"Claimed"? How on earth would I know that was Hoiberg's kid? The only reason why I know what Kansas coach's kid looks like is because he plays for the Kansas basketball team. Now I have to keep track of the children of opposing coaches as well so as to not offend? Good grief. I think you're trying a bit too hard.

Why on earth make fun of any crying kid?

Good question. He had terrible games at home against San Diego State and Oklahoma State as well. Every now and then he just seems to have a game where he can't get his timing right and isn't aggressive and locked in. Sometimes he doesn't get in sync with the ball rotation and isn't posted up in time to get the ball down low so he just seems to be in the way. When he does get the ball in those games where he is off, he seems unsure of himself and hesitates, removing the vast majority of his options. When he is good, he is posted up right when the perimeter player gets the ball on his side and is making his move as soon as the ball touches his hands. He isn't an explosive athlete at all so he has to rely on positioning, timing and good footwork. As good as he was on Saturday he was that bad last night.

It wasn't posted making fun of the kid; it was making fun of a crying, childish ISU fan. Since folks are posting video of games from 10 years ago, I won't waste my breath and say "let it go". That doesn't seem to be an option here...

Your post history reveals that you are simply a grown man bullying a child on the internet.

I think it's funny he makes fun of a kid, regardless of who's it is, crying when in all reality, I'm sure we could find pictures of crying Kansas ADULT fans when their beloved Jayhawks lose.

Mid-post I did a search and found the picture of their mascot crying. Included in the article is a radio broadcast where a fan breaks down and cries in the middle of it. Yeah, it's real pathetic that our COACH's young son was crying at the end of the game, when you've got full grown adults crying last March.

Reading comprehension, people. Not making fun of the kid at all. Making fun of the adult acting like a crying kid. Since we are going to trade random links: Journal 43: When basketball became the crying game - NBA - ESPN

Let's all take a deep breath and settle down here. We can talk hoops and be level headed and civil. Let's give that a shot.

Personally I like the fact that we have a KU fan that frequents the board and wants to talk hoops.

I can agree with that, and in fact have not problem with twocoach on most occasions. I apologize for the misunderstanding before twocoach. I kind of jumped into the thread and posted. I can see you drawing that parallel and not targeting the child now that I have read your responses. Regardless, I think it is important to think about where you are and who you are conversing with. Most of the time I think your posts are well thought-out and maybe a little biased toward your team, but honestly who isn't?

--Completely edited this one from its original post. I agree that it is nice to have an outside perspective from time to time.

Don't tell me what to do!

As long as trollcoach keeps posting here, I'll keep calling he/she/it out for it.
