Hahaha......just got home and read the thread, you guys should be ashamed for bashing these kids. They were down 16 in the 2nd half against one of the hottest teams in the country.

Naz comes up big again, naz and Georges played big!!!!

In defense of naysaying/fairweathering in the game thread (I did it plenty) — those first 25 mintues didn’t exactly inspire confidence (along with the buildup of negatives in recent games).

But ISU found a way to prevail, when the odds of battling back looked steep. It did so by playing like a team that built a 3/4-seed-caliber resume. That team is dangerous.

We just want to see more of That Team.

I'll admit that I was freaking out, especially with how to team played in the entire first half, and when they got down by 16 in the second half. I was angry and ******. Am I happy as hell they won? You're damn right. I am here eating my crow now, and I love it.

However, there is one thing I can't stand. It's the people who come in here on their high horse and call out all of those people who were mad during the game. Don't you dare sit there at your computer and come in here and act like you were all sunshine and rainbows when we were down by 16. I guarantee you were thinking exactly what some of us were saying. Get off your high horses.

Except those of us who were thinking it, had the maturity to not come on an open-to-the-public Internet message board, type it up, then post it.

Some things are best left on the editing floor, some of you need to learn this and stop making us look like loony manics.

The b****ing and moaning is understandable and probably expected on a message board when ISU plays that bad to start the game, but the complete negativity and ESPECIALLY the personal attacks on on college kids is embarrassing. I'm ashamed to see a Cyclone fan act that way. We're better than that.

You mean to tell me a message board isn't the right place to share your thoughts?!

Call it what you want, but I don't rag on our players or give up on them when there is plenty of time left on the clock. The first 25 minutes were a disaster, but I'm confident our guys will right the ship. Even if they had lost I would have been proud of them the way they fought back. Some guys need to emulate CFH's demeanor rather than throw a tissy fit like a 12 year old girl when things don't go well.

I agree with this. I thought we were playing terrible, but I also couldn't believe how poorly we were shooting. We were very fortunate to win this game. I was one that thought that we had a good chance of losing it even before the game began, simply because I thought the refs would favor Okie, and we would have to play extremely well to beat them. I didn't think the reffing was that bad, and I thought we didn't play well, and we still won. So it comes down to I am extremely happy. I just hope they play better in the big 12 tourney because they are going to need to to go anywhere. I believe in them, know they can do it. Get your legs into your three pointers, instead of shooting flat footed!

Sorry you're a loser, but when the debbie downers are right they get to get on their high horse, when the Fellowship of the Fred come out on top we get to be on the high horse. Your moaning about the situation after the fact is something that both camps can agree is whiny.

Wait, what?

I read that 5 times and still aren't sure what you're trying to say...

I'm saying in pretty much every game, there are 2 camps; Negative and Positive. One side is going to be right dependent upon the outcome of whatever game is at hand. The side that ends up being right, gets to be on the high horse until the next time. That is the law of the message board.

I rag on the team as much as anyone, but you'll not find me saying I wish someone wasn't on our team or XYZ player suks...etc etc. Will never understand why people feel the need to name, names and get personal.

There is a difference between being upset about the game / losing, and bashing the players. If you're upset about the game, I've got no problem with you. If you're on here bashing the players, you can go **** yourself.

Good job pulling it out, i wasn't worried until today at all but am starting to wonder, I still think there is something not right here, maybe just tired legs, but a game like that again, or even close to it is a guaranteed loss going forward. Some really brain dead mistakes out there today as well. Got to fight through that wall and be ready for the tourney.
