I don't disagree with you but I guess I don't ever see rape being a just punishment, even in the context of this show. I totally understand your point though, Jamie did seem like he was trying to hurt Cersai for hurting him repeatedly.

I wouldn't normally see rape as a just punishment either, but, yeah, it's Game of Thrones. Rape seems somewhere less worse than genital mutilation, be-headings, torture racks, etc.

I think that episode was clearly telling the viewers that despite showing the Hound and Jamie Lannister as decent people lately that these are in fact villains. Let's not forget all the awful things Jamie did in the first few seasons and the Hound is just a ruthless brute. it also seemed to try to get us to feel sorry for Cersei and it seems like having her raped by her own brother definitely makes you feel for her as a victim despite her being so horrible.

Opinion that Jaime is still a villain? Check.
Opinion that the Hound is still a villain? Check.
Gained sympathy for Cersei? Not even close. Hell, she deserves a hell of a lot worse than her upcoming
walk of shame

Just watched it and at the time thought it was probably rape. However after reading the posts here from those that have read the book I can see how it might not have been.

If I recall correctly her objections are 'not here' and 'this isn't right' after voluntarily kissing him then pulling away. Then she starts objecting in general.

Now I view it as not so much punishing her for being hateful, but him finally not being able to stand it anymore and she finally opened up the door. In the last episode he points out how long he'd been back and they'd done nothing. She finally kisses him when he's holding her while she's crying and I think it was kind of the built up tension finally releasing at the most messed up time. She opened up for the first time since she needed to have someone to console her and it was her sons father and all the emotion rushed back....in a totally messed up disgusting incestuous Lanister kinda hooking up with your ex/sibling by your dead son's corpse kinda way.

here's kind of an interesting resource, if you were ever curious about the geography of the GOT universe. It has a nice little "Spoilers" Slider in the top-right, which I thought was a nice touch.

This is old and has probably been posted already but I hadn't seen it yet:

I just randomly thought about this but did the show ever explain who it was that tried to frame Tyrion in season 1 for the attempted murder of Bran? I'm assuming it was Cersei who stole his dagger but that's just a guess. Jamie obviously wouldn't try to frame his own brother since they are buddies so had to be Cersei right?

That was my assumption as well. Only Cersei had the motive and stupidity to do that.

The show hasn't really explained it well, but this page (which is based off of the show, not the book), has a pretty good overview of possible suspects:
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Headscratchers/GameOfThrones

There's a section asking about the dagger. Just don't highlight the spoiler area if you don't want to know what happened in the book.

I thought I read somewhere (and not in the books) that it was Joeffry in an attempt to impress his Uncle Jaime. I'm sure I didn't hallucinate this, not saying that this is correct.

Where this doesn't make sense for me is Joffrey wouldn't have known why Jaime and Cersei would have wanted him dead.

GoT Disneyfied. Found this kind of amusing. Probably because I have a 3 year old. Here is the artists deviant art page.

This season sucks. I was worried after last season about liking the characters. Right now I don't really care what happens to anybody and the show is just dragging. It's slow and dull.

Ummmm, you are wrong. Either stop watching and binge watch or just stop watching.

I binge watched the first 3 seasons last year after joining the show late. And there is plenty going on even tho im not watching 3 episodes a day.

Lol

On another note, isn't that new guy on the wall Bolton's man? Can't be good for Jon, Bran and company. And poor Hodor
