So because he is only an inch shorter than Ejim (who is too short to play the 3 in the NBA) you think Kane can play the 3 in the NBA?

No. Thats not what I said (or at least out of context). I said it he was versatile enough to play some at a few spots if needed.
Considering they had him playing the the 3 with two other point guards and that was the subject of the post I was commenting on it us obvious they were testing him at it. Seems he isnt fairing well at the 2 or the 3 so far. Hope he doesnt let it get to his head and toughens through it. I think he is talented enough.

I think Clarkson gets the nod at 3rd string as he's younger and is playing better with the SL team. Hope I'm wrong. If the Lakers didn't get Lin then I could see Kane.

Agree. As much as I have come to hate Clarkson (and I do), not only is he younger, he is also longer and more athletic.

As expected, Kane did better with more minutes and Marshall not in the game. 12pts, 3rebs, 3assts, 2stl, and only 1 turnover. And they won. Clarkson did not manage to get even 1 assist? Hopefully Kane builds on today's performance.

That was sick! Seems a bit more comfortable out there. Might have something to do with the shakeup of personnel, but I hope that he keeps improving and taking advantage of the increased minutes to impress.

That was from his first game it think.

Just noticed that the summer league is winding down too, and the Lakers have no more games, so not much more time to impress. I'm not all that familiar with the NBA set-up, but is this the final opportunity to play in this sort of format or it there something else coming up?

Well, next is making the NBA roster, or playing on a D-League team, or if neither of those pans out, then playing overseas. Hopefully he will make a D-League team roster at least, even if it is not for the Lakers.
