I assume Ozigbo is down to Iowa and ISU with Boise State a distant 3rd. I think early playing time and the Nigerian connection with Louis Ayeni will bring him to ISU.

ISU's RB position could be really good in the future with Warren, Syria, and Ozigbo.

Ozigbo honestly has the body type to play as soon as he gets to ISU. I don't see him going to Iowa at all.

Yeah, thats a good way to put it- It is what you make of it. I, personally enjoy the back yard style more than the openness, but thats just me.

Lol, yes back to recruiting. That Ozigbo fella....

IMO what your considering "Iowa tailgating" is just a party. Most Iowa games I have been too they just get a keg and go to someones house remotely close to the stadium. ISU has true tailgating.

Sorry to stray away from the topic, but.... what in the heck is "true tailgating"? Seriously. Partying before a football game is tailgating.

As far as Ozibgo goes, Im thinking definitely ISU. Especially with his latest tweet, he's Ames bound. Hes a good one too. I would love to have him in black and gold.

It is a thing and I've seen it at UI games so don't worry about it.

Put it this way, ever been to a NWestern game in Evanston? You'll notice they don't have it...

Hope/think you're right about Ozigbo.

Gotcha, and yes, lol, NW doesnt have it... at all.

I was also going to add that I read somewhere where his parents REALLY like ISU, because of their (Haitian?) relationship to your RB coach. I gotta think that does it.

Yes, saw that too. It's Nigerian actually. He and Ayeni are both of Nigerian descent. Maybe we can corner the market on Nigerian recruits!

Just noticed that Julian Goode-Jones now has an offer from Oregon State to add to his offers from us and K-State. He now has more D1 offers than any other kid in the state yet Rivals hasn't got around to giving him a rating. He would be a nice addition.

Yep, add another oddity to the in-state recruiting year. He's another kid that Iowa, for some reason, hasnt offered and ISU has. In all my years of following recruiting, ive never seen anything really like this. Is there an in state kid that holds both an offer from Iowa AND ISU?

ISU81- Haha, I dont know how far you'll get with Nigerian fball players, but let Fred know about the bball ones. Thats where its at!

Iowa's 247 guy just changed his prediction for Devine Ozigbo to ISU. Says it's based on information and not on a gut feeling.

He's the only back we would take this class and is a bigger back that ISU has been looking for.

Ayeni is his lead guy I think and pulled him in even though he got a very late start on him.

Looks like the new recruiting hires are paying off a bit.

Had to laugh at the comments by the squak fans. You would think Iowa was running back U by how they talk. Maybe "running back U injured".

Can you remember the last time they had a back that didn't pan out? Iowa is essentially a sure thing for RBs :jimlad:
