Newton is hurt, so maybe try Tampa Bays defense?

Newton practiced half-way today. He'll be a go.

And I don't want to go week-by-week adding/dropping a different defense. Which do you think gives me the best outlook all season long?

Detroit's D is a little raw yet, but it's getting better and will pry be pretty stable. They'll get ya sacks with that nasty D line.

I drafted the Bills defense but I'm currently regretting the decision. Keep them or pick up Chicago, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Tampa Bay or Houston?

Id pick up Detroit. The Giants gave up the most points last season to D/ST, and I dont see their offense being any better this year.

Houston, sacks galore

According to my league's week one scoring projections Houston is #25/32. And the season long projection tells me to take the Bears.

There has to be some Bears fans on here. Who wants to help me out with some Bears input?

Good point. Sad when going up against the Giants offense may be better than going up against the Jags.

Um what?!? Jordy is the primary wr now and he'll still get his numbers with Rodgers at QB against the seahawks. You have to start him as he was an early pick and will get his points. I've never been a fan of Wallace. Even though Patterson is going against a good Rams D, I'd say him or Jackson.
8 points for Nelson last night. We'll see how the rest of that list stacks up to that. I doubt if 8 points will be Top 2.

It also depends if it's PPR or not. I believe he had 17 in our league scoring because he had 9 catches. So again, he may hold his own against that list. It's all on perspective and what your league scoring is.

If he didn't fall down in the end zone and caught the dang ball he would have exceeded his projections in both. He had a pretty good night PPR wise, especially against SEA.

I just don't like putting guy like Nelson up against Seattle's D. I agree that in a PPR league where all those dink and dunk passes rack up points I probably would have started him. I just think Jackson will beat Nelson's output pretty easy and both Wright and Patterson have an excellent shot at it as well. I have a bad feeling that the KC defense is going to give up a bunch of good fantasy numbers this year.
