If you want CPR gone, who do you want to be hired to replace him?

To all the people calling me an idiot for Kiffin: he has a better record than Rhoads. He can recruit. Rhoads could never recruit. Also, who cares if he only coaches here for 3-4 years before moving elsewhere? He will put us in a better position and win more games than that loser Rhoads of ours. Too many people are accepting being the worst of the conference and think there's nobody that can make this team better. That's a lousy attitude. I, for one, am ready for change. I guess a bunch of you love losing as it's clear by your attitudes and not wanting Rhoads fired because he's a "good guy". Being a "good guy" doesn't win games as evidenced by his 27-38 career record.

Last week you say ISU was clearly the superior team to NDSU and they shouldn't be hard to put away. This week you roll out Kiffin

Starting to see quite a pattern of quality posts.

Chip Kelly could be looking for a job at the end of the year. I'm sure bigger programs would come calling but still.
And you're the one calling me out about Kiffin when your avatar is a picture of Austin Grandstaff, an Ohio State commit, more than four months after he committed to them...

Yep, I'm an idiot for expecting more since our coach has done nothing but prove he doesn't belong. I guess that makes me the idiot. Kiffin was the only guy I could think of off the top of my head, but anyone could do better than this coach who has a lower winning percentage than our career average with a bigger budget, better personnel, a new practice facility, and the SEZ coming. Wake up, people. Anyone is better than Rhoads. He's promised so much and just sucks! He should've been gone after that bowl loss to Tulsa where he clearly got outcoached. He got outcoached yesterday, and just about any other game of his.

I be derping to the east, derping to the west...

I TRIED CHANGING IT BUT THE CF OVERLOARDS WOULDNT LET ME CHANGE MY AVATAR

And I wasn't calling you out, like seriously...I wouldn't be giving me crap. I'd love Kiffin here. But he can do better than Iowa State.

Chip Kelly could be looking for a job at the end of the year. I'm sure bigger programs would come calling but still.

You offer Kelly $8 million dollars a year. They shouldn't fire CPR unless his replacement is an absolute stud and basically signed before you even make CPRs firing public.

Want to stop being a loser, act like it and pay like it. Otherwise just forget it and keep on the current path.

If you can't afford the $8 million then forget it.

We can't afford $2 million a year...

Since there is a thread titled "CPR has to go" and multiple posters disgruntled with him, I was curious if those who want him gone at the end of the season would say who they would like to be hired to replace him?

Clone CPR.

Rhoads isn't going anywhere, so this entire thread is pretty much a moot point.

I think he gets this year for sure, and most likely next as well to prove something. JP can't afford to fire him for a couple years IMO.

I saw us take a HUGE step this week, and I look for us to continue to do so. I was pleased with the effort.

A pro-style offensive mind or a Craig Bohl type. We've tried the spread and it isn't working out. Find some guys who can push around pigs and cows on farms in Iowa and run it down people's throats.

How about Charlie Strong, he's probably going pretty cheap right now?

(I don't want to get rid of Rhoads...)

If you really think an assistant coach at Alabama is going to come to Iowa State than you might want to check yourself for brain damage.

No way is Harbaugh coach of the 49er's next year.

Give him Saban money with about a 7 year contract.

Mortage the stadium, sell farmland, do anything you have to to make it happen.

Good teams will follow and the stadium will be sold out at high ticket prices.
