Considering the location, it could be considered karma after the big fuss UW made over Waukee's "W".

Try moving up here and seeing that logo on a bunch of cars and thinking man, there's a lot of ISU fans around here with the old style logo. Wonder what's up with that?

Seems like decent subliminal advertising to me. Not like an upper-middle school is going to make much bank on a logo anyway.

I think the eyes are more downward pointing.....
This thread has made me realize why JP wanted to change the logo. Walking Cy shows nothing about ISU Cyclones.

There's a middle school in neighborhood that uses a certain yellow chicken logo. Shortly after I moved in, I was dismayed that I had somehow found the Hawkeye bastion of central Texas... but then I figured out that the name "Iowa" wasn't attached to it.
Still makes violently ill whenever I see it, though.

I hope we don't do anything to make them change it. I was planning on it being a great way to indoctrinate my children into going to ISU.
Personally, that is the logo I like the best of yours along with Cy leaning up against the I. Likewise, my favorite Iowa logo was the big headed flying hawk. Guess I'm just a fan of the more dated logos.
