We are obviously not playing to win anymore. Running the ball and punting in the other team's territory.

This OSU team put up 31 on Florida State, so I expected us to give up low to mid-40s. I'm just tired of the offense being so anemic for so long. You just don't have a chance in this league with what we're able to produce.

Here nor there
Sam may be better than Rohach, I'm not going to argue that. But until we get a QB that can make plays with his ARM and not his LEGS we are never going to amount to anything. I guarantee whoever is backing up Garmon, OSU's 3rd string QB would still make Sam look silly. Everyone talks about recruiting DL and whatnot but until we get a QB that's worth a **** it doesn't matter. It's frustrating week after week seeing the same ol **** on offense. One other thing, stop throwing screens with a QB who has a noodle for an arm. Rant over.
Could be, but you are minimizing just how ****ed we are on offense. Sam would look a hell of a lot better playing at OK St with their 3rd team. Every position group is greatly contributing to this **** show. It was obvious very early on under CPR that the death of his tenure would be due to how clueless he was in his plan on offense.

This game is not on the refs. They didn't help, but OSU beat us. The refs didn't.
Today, ISU beat themselves in the first half and instead of being up 2 or 3 scores, went into the half behind via help from zebras. Gave OSU a chance and the 2nd half is what it is.

We have a coaching problem. Every game we get OWNED in the second half when we aren't in Iowa City. Baylor had such a lead they didn't have to worry.

Richardson continues to be solid: 11-31 139

No one should question his performance.
Put in Richardson with OSU's offense and put in Garmon on our offense. I'll bet you every penny I earn for the rest of my life that Richardson plays better.

Take your eyes off the ball for a second (oh my god stuff happens away from the ball? no way!) and watch the receivers. Count how many of them actually get more than 1 step away from their defender on any given play. Come back with results.

Yes i am ****** about the bad overturn call on the touchdown before the half. That was terrible. There are many other factors about this game. Turning it over on kickoff deep in your territory, giving up a return for a touchdown, and the biggest one to me is the same old song and dance, the oline sucks. I would be surprised if we win more than two games. You can have a better qb, but with no oline, the offense is going to suck. Its just that plain and simple.

Fitting that when we finally get good kicker and punter, the rest of the team can't compete to put ISU in close game situations. What I wouldn't give to have a Netten like kicker in the 2000-2005 seasons.

Let's not forget that the JUCO's they did sign that are healthy to play either don't play(Jordan Harris), or are used in spot duty. They can't even recruit JUCO's good enough to see the field.

This is true but it's not like there are just a bunch of starter-caliber juco recruits out there that aren't competitively recruited.

Everyone thinks good jucos are all over the place but they're no less coveted than good HS players.
