SDW and Edozie have made the most of their opportunity. Which only makes the minutes breakdown this year more interesting.

I can't imagine what it's going to be like not worrying about foul trouble.

Just can't believe that Nader, Thomas and McKay were not even available tonight.

It was garbage time, but I won't be surprised if Jackson has his moments this year like Edozie did last year. Although we're so deep at guard maybe not really an opportunity barring injuries or illnesses.

SDW and Tsalmpouris tied for the most minutes at 24 apiece. Glad they are getting a chance to show what they can do.

He got blocked on the reverse, but that little step through by Tsalmpouris was pretty decent footwork. Especially considering he was going to the right side.

He shows some signs at times of some promise, but I just don't see him getting hardly any minutes at all come conference time, but who knows?

Sports are fun and sports elevate our moods, but nothing is more important than an individual's character (I know, because I don't have one! So I can recognize high character when I see it.)

Daniel Edozie has oodles of character, and after this season is done and fades in our memories, Mr. Edozie (if you haven't read his personal story, do so) successfully will rocket into the stratosphere of accomplishment (OK, I don't know that, but I'd bet money that it happens). Basketball aside, the guy is one of life's winners. We all should take heart from who he is. It's a wonderful thing that he just happens to be a Cyclone, too.

Agree wholeheartedly! Sports are fun and entertaining, but as I've said numerous times, they are meaningless.

It means so much more to have good character and to be a good contributing citizen to society. Edozie epitomizes this. Good on him.

Something I like: the chemistry already seems natural.

BDJ looks scrappy. I can see where the liability comments from UNLV fans come from, but he's quite simply a playmaker. Those steals looked great, and the dunks were even better. My hope is that Fred is able to harness that playmaking ability while smoothing out his erratic play.

Tsal still looks pretty green, but he looked a lot better than I anticipated. He's going to get better in no time.
