You have to start by realizing that you are confusing the **** out of this guy. The nerve of you explaining why he is wrong on every level, using these mystical things like facts and logic has him staring blankly at his computer screen with his mouth hanging open, drool coming out, screaming out "winning" attitude and getting yelled at for waking up his mother.

It isn't fair watching you all do this to him.
lol at you. Please explain where I am definitively wrong. You really are pathetic. I don't live on this board like you. I do other things with my life.

I like Jerry Kill. If we had to replace Rhoads (which I don't want to do yet), I'd prefer getting a guy with Kill's background (previous head coach). Minnesota is trending in a direction that Iowa State is not.

But today is a perfect example of why Minnesota's great season is nice but not super impressive. Down 14-0 in the first quarter. The weather should have helped Minnesota....it hasn't.

Easy now. No one claimed they'd win this game. Don't throw rocks if you live in a glass house....or something

I think there is good debate in here until the derp came in for the last 4-5 pages

Which you absolutely started, and were the leading provider until super tavern hawk took the baton.

Just because in your effort to troll and brag up your gophers, you decide to ignore pesky things like context and facts. It doesn't make those darn truths any less real. You play in the MAC with monopoly money.

The best part about this post is 1) realizing you are, at your core, dishonest, as you're here all the time. And 2) thinking you're using a $5 word to really emphasize your point, but don't know how to spell said word.

Add in all the other things you're wrong on, and I'm wondering if you and uni guy aren't related

Is someone at corporate ABC an shameless OSU alum???? Lord, every game on national tv, including the stinkers like the ones against Indiana and such.

Minnesota stadium....lot of empty seats in the biggest game they have had in a century. That thing was sold to the public and it never made sense. The Dome should have/could have been a huge recruiting tool. Wish we could scrap our '70's stadium and SEZ plans and have a $50,000 seat dome. Anyway, I know that Minny stadium cost $50gazillion or something like that. Will have to google. Dumb.

Thanks for the sp. correction. Believe it or not I do make spelling errors every now and then. Also, you still haven't pointed to where I have been proven wrong. Pretty typical of you though because you can't bring anything of substance to this board.

So we need to add reading comprehension to the list as well. Got it

Lol, this is great. Checked, yep still provided nothing. Most on here see you as a joke. 100% of your posts are attacking others. Your life would really be empty if you didn't have this message board to insult and attack others all the time.

Exactly what I like about Kills teams. Punched in the mouth, more often than not they respond instead of folding like a lawn chair

I will also note this. ISU had more fan support against Kansas in the ice bowl last year than Minn does against a top ten team today. Pathetic fan support...

It's baffling how many fail to recognize the job Kill has done, but since Proud Paul plays a Big 12 schedule he could beat this Minnesota team and win 7-8 games with a Big 10 schedule.

What has he done? Minnesota has not done anything particularly impressive this season other than being down by 3 at halftime at home to Ohio State. They lost to Illinois. They beat Purdue by 1 point. They lost by 23 to TCU. Tell me what Minnesota has done impressively this season? The best item on their resume is a blowout home win of Iowa who we can agree is not a good team and played particularly poorly that weekend anyway.

Too many people oversimplify this and look only at the W/L but if you're talking about Rhoads vs. Kill, they might as well be playing a different game for the complete lack of overlap that their opponents have in quality. The Big 12 and the Big 10 West are not remotely similar. Maybe Kansas and Illinois are, but then again, Rhoads and Kill do have something in common there...

They take care of the teams they are supposed to beat. Yes, I know they haven't blown everyone out, but they are still beating them. Our basketball team shouldn't have had close games against some bad teams last year but they still won them. A sign of a good team still. Yes, I know the basketball team last year beat a lot of ranked teams. Don't take this comparison too far. Also, I'm not going to tear down Minnestoa for a road game against an outstanding TCU team. The only head shaker is the Illinois game on the road.

I'm not saying Minnestoa is some amazing team, but it still is pretty obvious that Kill has been building that program up from absolutely nothing when he started. They regularly were losing to the Big 10 bottom feeders before he took over.

Minnesota has done that this year with one exception (Illinois). You could argue that Iowa State has done the same this year with one exception (Kansas).

Bull. They'd been to bowl games 9 of the previous 11 years before Kill arrived.

Besides, nobody is arguing that Kill hasn't improved the team. That's obvious. The thing we're all challenging is A) whether it's actually that impressive, B) whether it's sustainable or just a product of their soft schedule, and C) whether it means Jerry Kill would be able to do the same thing at Iowa State.

They just said Kill is 24-23 in his 4th year at Minnesota.

Rhoads was 24-25 toward the end of his 4th year too. Obviously the wheels have fallen off since then, so I am not necessarily defending Rhoads as much as saying that Kill is being overrated in this thread.

Kill is basically exactly where Rhoads was toward the end of 2012, just with a much, much softer schedule.
