That is like driving your Toyota Yaris hatchback down the street next to the guy in the Porsche 911 and racing him. When you lose, the guy in the passenger seat turns to you and says "I know you have a Yaris and he has a 911, but complaining about Strength of Vehicle never won anybody a race! Do better!"

Tom Herman is a freaking genius! So smart. So much gravitas. Hahaha. Yeah, he was smart like Chizik was smart to gtfoa. He can coach really good for superior talent....good for him.

After witnessing this non-crowd in their billion dollar stadium they built from the ground up, I just can't believe what a poor decision that was to build. What a waste. Share the dome or build a smaller, more optimally sized dome for multi-purpose for that arctic metropolis. Oh well, even accounting for vote fraud, Minnesotans are an odd lot.

Kind of like Iowa State did twice against Texas this year? They responded. Or like they did when Iowa was ahead in the game this year? Or when Kansas State was ahead 17-0 in the game this year? Or when Toledo had the lead in the 1st half of the game this year?

You can bash Iowa State under Rhoads for many reasons, but some of the **** you people make up is such utter ********.

Rhoads was 24-25 toward the end of his 4th year too. Obviously the wheels have fallen off since then, so I am not necessarily defending Rhoads as much as saying that Kill is being overrated in this thread.

Kill is basically exactly where Rhoads was toward the end of 2012, just with a much, much softer schedule.

I agree that a big test will be if Kill is able to keep the program where it is. I though pretty highly of Rhoads exactly 2 years ago. I was shocked how quickly he brought us down. Kill still needs a few more years before we can really judge, but so far he is looking like he is getting the job done there.

Kill has beaten 1 out of 11 ranked teams he has played at Minnesota. We all know that Rhoads has beaten more ranked teams than that and he sure as hell has had to play more ranked teams than 11.

Paul has had more opportunities to beat ranked teams. Also, Kill hasn't had a chance to beat teams that start the year ranked but fail to become bowl eligible. Next few years will tell if Kill is building something. I thought Rhoads was 2 years ago, so who knows. We could be wrong.

According to ESPN, CPR was 4-19 against ranked teams prior to this season. 0-4 this year drops him to 4-23 for a win percentage of 0.148

Kill's record of 1-12 (after today's loss against OSU) is a win percentage of 0.077

Conference history has what bearing on the current state of the big ten? The big ten is extremely soft these days. Pretty much anyone familiar with college football agrees on that. and program history has nothing to do with ISU being better than Iowa THIS YEAR.

By your logic, Minnesota is 100x the football program that Iowa is and is a national power. After all, they've won 7 National Championships.
