We seem lost on defense a lot. Too many guys wide open. Maryland and bama for, that matter were not very good match ups honestly as they are big teams. Maryland is bigger and has a guard that can light it up. I thought Hogue was fouled several times with no call. Is it me or did Hogue seem to fall 4-5 times that half? We have to work Niang inside to wi this, if we do we will win as it will open up the three. Keeping Niang out of foul trouble is imperative. I'd like to see Nader shake the nerves and look to shoot if he's open.

Need to get Matt T. in the game and set some good picks for him. Maryland's bigs are really physical and the ref are letting them play.

Matt got benched because of a couple terrible plays on defense. Like middle school bad.

Maryland is winning because they continue to make extra passes and hustle for boards. ISU continues to force bad shots and stand around (Not Edozie) for rebounds. ISU is the much talented team, but Maryland is playing much better and it's still a 1 possession game at half. I expect ISU to take control early in the second half.

ISU is winning the rebounding battle 17-16.

It's not just you who thought Hogue fell a lot during that half

Maryland played about as good as they could have in the first half. Didn't miss shots and rebounded well. If we can box out and rebound and play our brand of basketball we should be OK. We played as bad as I've seen out of this team and we are only down 3. If we play just a little better we should be OK. Trust Dreamy.

mine hasn't given me any issue (wiziwig is usually pretty good) and I have a good "spam filter".

Niang is great, but why is he shooting threes when he seemed to do whatever he wanted inside the three point arc?

Again the Cyclones still weak on defense/rebounding at the start. Edozie is changing the tone of the game. Maryland was just having their way early on.

Georges needs work on drawing more fouls in 2nd half, not too many 3's tonight.

Hogue struggling against length, but so did Ejim last year.

Not sure we can have Thomas and Georges on the floor at the same time. Don't want Merryland to get happy again, like first half.

Not much team play in the 1st half. I think they are waiting for the crowd to get into the game.

Yo fools complaining on rebounding. We won the first half battle on the boards against a team much taller than us.
