Should move up considerably in the AP poll this week. How many?

SDSU getting curb stomped. Down 36-23. They've only scored 23 points with 8 minutes left in the GAME.

San Diego St is down 17 with 7:43 left in the second half. They've only scored 23 points so far. Ugly ugly. We jump them, no doubt.

looks like San Diego St. Is going down in Seattle. Score is 36 to 22 for the Huskies with about 9 minutes left.San Diego starters are a combined 4 for 35 shooting. Horrid!

Won - 13. San Diego St.
Lost - 14. Ohio St.
Lost - 15. Miami (FL)
Lost - 16. West Virginia
Lost - 17. Michigan
Lost - 18. Arkansas
Lost - 19. Michigan St.
Won - 20. Iowa St.
Lost - 21. Maryland
Won - 22. Oklahoma

The mighty Arkansas Razorbacks lost again, this time to a middling Clemson in OT. They had a 6 point lead with a minute to go and still found a way to lose.

I would like for Wichita St. to drop below us as well. I believe they were 8th and they lost to Utah this week. So really, ISU and Utah should move up some. Again, I see ISU in the 10-12 range.

Unless a majority of voters are re-creating ballots from scratch every week, Iowa State will surpass the following teams, at minimum (last week’s AP rankings)
15. Miami (Fla.)
16. West Virginia
17. Michigan
18. Arkansas

Ohio State lost, but Louisville will be ranked No. 4, I'm guessing — losses by Gonzaga and Wichita State will propel OSU into top 10 even though it lost. Such is the ranking system.

I would not be shocked if Iowa State is ranked below at least one of the following teams, although I think it’d be cause for varying levels of scoffing:
12. North Carolina
13. San Diego State
19. Michigan State
21. Maryland
25. Utah

I’m guessing 14th.

Looks like things fell pretty well for us this week looking at the list of teams that lost.

Wichita State deserves to drop ten spots for their loss. They are a team I can't stand because of how much the polls love them. If we dropped seven spots for losing to a team just outside of the rankings at the time, Wichita State should drop at least five spots losing to the 25th ranked team. My guess is we pass them, SDSU (who will drop a ton for their awful loss), both Michigan schools, Miami, Arkansas, WVU, UNC, and MAYBE Ohio State. Therefore my guess is 11 or 12. If we beat Iowa, expect us to be in the top ten next week.

Same with Michigan State. Izzo is worth at least 7 or 8 spots in the poll. They've had "good" losses to Duke and KU (along with ND) but their wins are Loyola-Chicago, Santa Clara, Rider, Marquette, and UAPB.

I think the current top 11 will still be in the top 11 with some swapping of spots. 1. UK 2. Duke 3. Zona 4. Louisville 5. Virginia 6. Nova 7. KU. Texas, Gonzaga and Wisconsin all had respectable loses this week, so they will come in at 8, 9 and 10 respectfully. Wichita State lost by 1, on the road to a top 25 team, and with the other loses this week, my guess is they drop to 11. Ohio State's loss was to Louisville on the road, but I still see them moving up to 12.

ISU comes in at 13.

76 posts debating where Hoiball will be ranked in the second week of December.

Yeah, I'd say our fanbase has pivoted away from that other sport pretty nicely.

NBC Sports has their rankings out.
They didn't drop ISU as far the week before as the AP so well see if 12 is possible.

Unlucky #13 has lost two weeks in a row. How about #14 until further notice?
