Really! Seth spends day in Ames to get to know Fred and his team earlier. Seth likes the Cyclones and Fred and will be promoting us as much as any one when we're consistantly meeting expectations as we did last year.

Just being unbiased and we've all heard the hype and expectations of McKay as Seth has, but do you know with complete certainty he'll live up to expectations. I'm counting on it but not putting the bank on it yet.

What hype and expectations are there for McKay? I've never really read anything saying he'll immediately become the best player on the team. The "hype" is about having a guy with his skill set on defense. His length and athletic ability gives our team a piece of the puzzle we haven't had under Fred. ******-berg talked about him having limited offensive skills, but where has there been hype about his offensive skills?

As others have said, if you're going to put your opinion out on a public forum, better be prepared for the backlash. Especially when what he said makes little to no sense because McKay hasn't even played in almost 2 years and he's basing his statement on one random practice last summer.

All McKay needs to be is another cog in the machine, so the pressure to perform shouldn't be too heavy, except with unrealistic posters. We don't need another star. He will add a dimension on defense, and will aid in rebounding. Simply posing a threat on offense will be enough, or getting put back points. The way we pass, if they leave him, I'm pretty sure he can handle a dunk ;)

I agree on the spacing thing. Who knows about instant impact? I expect immediate benefits from his play.

Is everyone's real-life so ****** that they constantly need sunshine (concerning a basketball team for which they have an irrational passion) shoved up their ***? I know mine is. Get it together, Seth.

I think the correct term is "pumped".

Funny that you posted that right under this "Exactly. Lol. Wait until we punish Drake by 40 and JM has a line like 16 pts, 10 reb and 8 blocks."

Lol. It is. Didn't realize I had done that. After that parenthetical comment I guess I lost track and typed " shoved" out of habit. I dunno about y'all, but I discuss shoving things up the *** far more than pumping them up there.

I don't discuss either of them, but hey, we are not here to judge you.

In case you haven't noticed, no one likes you and we all wish you would go play in traffic.

Did anyone go to the Cap City games? How did Mckay shoot from the outside there? Also, McKay may add some defensive rebounding, which always helps ISUs offense a lot.

Rothstein was right about Kane so I'll go with him. Greenberg has too many tweets advising other coaches what to do. I DO expect people to be disappointed with McKay out of the box because they expect too much.

McKay is able
