Don't mean to get too caught up in the rankings, but with Texas and KU losing, we should be #10. I don't see anyone jumping us besides maybe Washington.

I wouldn't bet the farm. If we go undefeated into the Kansas game, I would suspect we would likely be in the top 10 at that point...
Texas definitely won't stay above us. We will be the top team in the Big XII next week. However, Washington might jump us. They have two games they should win and would potentially be 13-0 to our 9-1. A rational case could be made for them, especially with the win over Oklahoma being better than any win we have.
I would not be mad if we were #11 behind Washington. I almost expect it, it makes sense.

No need for predictive algorithms here. We’ll receive not what we idly wish for, but what we rightfully earn. I am certainly expecting a rightfully earned rise before mid-January and newfound faith from the faithless following our January 17[SUP]th[/SUP] debut! :biggrin9gp:

Edit: Yep. Week 11 we were 8th and Baylor was 12th. Kansas was 15th
Edit edit: And then we did it again in the last AP poll of the season. We were 9th and Kansas was 10th. We were actually the highest ranked Big XII team until the preseason poll came out just a few months ago.

Not sure which week 11 is, but we ended the year ranked the highest, from my recollection.
Sure did. Just edited that in my post. Week 11 was right after we woodshedded Baylor. It was January 13th-19th. Then, March 17th-Oct 30th. We've been the best team in the league for the majority of 2014!
