I'm not convinced the voters will drop Arizona behind ISU even after this loss, but the odds of ISU in the Top 10 are certainly improved now.

Arizona will not drop 8 spots. It will help down the road with the log jam up top, though.

Everybody should be watching that Zags @BYU game on Saturday. If BYU can get that win, I would say we have a really good shot at the top 10.

I don't anticipate Washington jumping Iowa State. Should they? Yeah, their resume is probably better but its not typically how the AP Poll works. Would have been awesome to see Witchita State go down. Villanova was down in second half as well.

Good call. I think it's a possibility (I wouldn't bet on it happening, but it's feasible).

The only other teams above Iowa State thru Sunday is Wichita State (vs. GW) and Wisconsin, which plays Buffalo. It'd be amusing if Badgers could follow Big Ten trend of losing a shocker at home in a cupcake game. It won't happen, just would be funny if it did — and I'd be curious how far voters would drop them, after an otherwise solid resume so far.

EDIT: forgot about Diamond Head Classic final

I think GW beats WSU. WSU barely beat Detroit, Alabama, and now a really awful Hawaii team. WSU doesn't deserve their ranking after their sorry schedule they put out. If a school that plays a bunch of Sallies in conference play wants respect, they should load up their non conference schedule. Instead they play nobodies (other than Utah, who they lost to), and look vulnerable. ISU should jump these guys (this is assuming they end up beating GW) and I think it happens along with Texas and Kansas falling behind us. My guess is 9th, one spot behind Arizona.

WSU has lived on the edge a few times already this season, but also keeps closing it out. It's possible to read that two different ways.

George Washington has a definite shot vs. Wichita, on a neutral floor.
This. I'm going to assume the voters will give Wichita the benefit of the doubt and hold them steady or even advance them a spot or 2 even though they are extremely overrated. There's a lot of comparison with this to the Florida State football team this year. Lots of ugly wins against mediocre teams but they still were top 4. I don't like it but I just don't see Wichita getting dropped at all.

Congrats, this looks like the bold upset prediction of the night. Who was the *** who mocked you with the "first beer" comment?

Not sure if you watched, but UNLV did not "roll" AZ. AZ had plenty of opportunity to take the lead and win in the last minute. They didn't execute. If they played again I would put money on AZ "rolling" UNLV for sure.
