cant argue with our placement after the WSU loss. Glad to see their mediocrity was finally exposed.

Arizona beat Gonzaga so those may be flip-flopped. Granted, it was at 'Zona, but still.

I'm not sure our resume says top 10. But our incredibly balanced roster now at full strength combined with how our team has looked by March three years in a row says top 10.

We'll be top 10 now for the same reason we couldn't get out of "others with votes" 2 and 3 years ago when the 20-25 teams were clearly no better than ISU.

I'm going to pick BYU over Gonzaga, which will move us up even more. Hopefully I'm right!

Hope you're right, but I'm guessing Gonzaga beats BYU by double digits. Gonzaga is the real deal, so many weapons. Not sure if Haws is healthy, either.

Not that we'll likely move in front of either, but if UK wins @#4 Louisville about 3 hours from now...just cement them at #1 the entire rest of the year. Even 2-4 SEC losses would probably not jeopardize that given what they've done in non-conf taking care of top teams from just about every other major conf should they win today.

If Kentucky loses 4 SEC games then all bets are off. That would be horrible.

They've played one ranked team and lost that game. I'm not sure they have a path to a two seed now even if they are unbeaten. Their RPI will be nothing special after conference. KU is still the big competition for Omaha imho.

Wouldn't there be 2 top seeds in each regional? Who would get favored over us and KU?

I just mean I doubt WSU had a chance to a 1-2 seed this year once they lost to the only impressive team on their non-conf schedule the entire last two years. The Omaha location has had KU stamped on it since the minute it was announced as a site, I'm sure even giving the thing to Omaha was thought of as an extra place for KU to be happy at.

It's nice to get the exposure for sure and recruiting has never been better. Move up, move down. College hiops is like Duck, Duck Goose. We'll probably get our chain jerked a couple times this year. Don't want to end up like Duke and Oky in the 1st round last year.

IF ISU wins the Big12 or finishes second to TX, the clones will be in Omaha.

Already have two two good tickets for the Omaha NCAA games. Let's make it happen.
