Tough loss for AZ, had no answer at all for Vaughn once Rondae Hollis-Jefferson fouled out, kid played a great game. Doubt we fall past 7 though

If you think that was a great game you should watch ISU play sometime. Our SG doesn't need to take 21 shots to get 21 points

Props to the Rebs. However, I kept wondering what kind of offense they were running -- not much "team ball." I think, in the end, that type of selfish style of play will be their undoing. Talent-wise they have the personnel to get to the big dance but, coaching-wise, not so much.

Why would ISU jump Wichita? Or do you have inside info on an upcoming loss Thursday night?

I'm guessing five spots. With all of the chaos that's happened so far this week, here is my guess on the top 15:

1. Kentucky
2. Duke
3. Louisville
4. Virginia
5. Wisconsin
6. Villanova
7. Gonzaga
8. Arizona
9. Iowa State
10 Wichita State
11. Washington
12. Utah
13. Maryland
14. Texas
15. Kansas

I think Iowa State jumps Wichita State because voters finally realize that they're barely winning these pathetic games and they stop overating the Shockers.

Some of these teams should maybe rethink playing single games this close to Christmas. It just seems some of these teams aren't showing up mentally.

If i were Christian Wood i would be totally ******….. He leads the team in the upset win over Arizona in both points and rebounds, yet Vaughn gets all the pub. I mean seriously, even in the ESPN article they point out the key play in the game and Vaughns name is not listed…. But, he probably was the one talking the most, so he gets the pub!!!

I mean with all due respect - and I'm not hatin….

Wood 24 pts (10-17) 58% with 10 boards.
Vaughn 21 pts (9-21) 42% with 5 boards.

To me, Wood was the clear cut MVP of that game yet vaughns the one being hoisted up after the game and the one that ESPN is calling to get a phone interview. Everyone at UNLV was all happy about getting Vaughn and rightfully so. But Wood may end up being the better college and pro player. At 6'-10", super athletic, he was rated as the 40th best player in the nation.

Here nor there
I'm not the one that needs to let it go.

Keep telling yourself that. A decision a kid made has you so sensitive that you are bothered by a thread about a college basketball game involving a top-10 team that Cyclone fans should have their eye on against a team that one of our best players transferred from and includes an elite recruit we were a finalist for. There should be a thread about the game.

Clearly Vaughn is dead to you. You just happen flip out at the mere mention of his name and have to read every thread that may include him.

Now that you got that off your chest, you can get back on topic of the UNLV vs Arizona game. Oh and Merry Christmas.

Plus UNLV will roll Arizona

It's OK, I remember when I had my first beer too.

I want to apologize to 83clone. Last night he predicted the UNLV upset over Arizona, before the game had tipped off. I mocked him with an old Steve Martin joke. But as they say, he who mocks last mocks best.

My excuse: I saw UNLV get dismantled at home Saturday by Utah (mostly in the 2nd half) and so I figured UNLV stood no chance against an Arizona squad considered to be the elite team in the Pac12.
