Fans boo every opponent when they come out for warm ups, when they go in from warm ups and when they have their lineups announced. I have never been to a college basketball game where the home team fans DIDN'T do this to the visiting team. All it proves is that a college basketball game was played last night.

Well I guess I finally found something that a KU fans admits to doing, that ISU actually doesn't do. When your players are announced/introduced we do not boo them. Maybe KU fans are human just like every other fan base, not superior too.

hiring parents is a little different than hiring good recruiters

So true. KU fans probably think that when Roy boy was paying players after graduation that was all up and up too. You can wrap it up in a pretty bow all you want, cheating is cheating.

Weren't they caught and punished for that? Yes. Pretty mind boggling that "Dag Gum" Roy was so dumb that he thought that was fine. I had no problem with KU being punished for that. Cheating is breaking the rules. Hiring Chalmers and Manning was not breaking the rules so it wasn't cheating so I don't have a problem with that. What Williams allowed to happen WAS breaking the rules so it was cheating and I did have a problem with that. Not really complicated. Sorry if that doesn't fit your predetermined KU fan assumption but we really do prefer if our coaches and program follow the rules so that we do not get penalized and cost the team schollies or tourney appearances.

By saying this you basically said, " Yeah, so what. Who gives a *****"
What I am saying is that what was described is currently NOT against the rules and that if it bothers your sensitive moral compass so much you should talk to the ncaa about changing the rules. Otherwise, ranting about something that is allowed under ncaa rule is just pointless.

KU isn't used to booing so much simply because they get every call unless it is completely blatant: in which case they boo more than anyone else in the country. The fact that they obsess over booing at Hilton on their message boards to the extent that they do simply proves that they are a bunch of bed wetters.

I don't care one way or the other about the booing, but they were blatently booing at McKay intentionally fouling, in an attempt to extend the game, with a little over a minute to go. It was past half court, no one else for Iowa St was trying to foul, and KU was just dribbling out the clock.
Oh, that play. Yeah, that was a pretty pointless foul. People were already annoyed by similar actions on Saturday after K-State was fouling down 10 with 6 seconds left. Based on the multi-page thread complaining about K-State stalling in the closing minutes I would think that ISU fans understand the desire to keep the game rolling along in the closing seconds of a game that has been decided. I guess only ISU fans are allowed to be bothered by these things.

were Iowa state fans complaining about k-state fouling? If so, please point me in that direction. I don't think we have to understand Kansas fans booing for that dumb reason.

Your obsession ion with posting on an iowa state message board is amusing.

You're aware that this thread was started by an ISU fan obsessing over how much KU fans boo, right?

They were complaining about how long it took Bruce Weber to make a substitution after a player fouled out which might be the most trivial rant ever.

It wasn't obsession with how much KU fans boo, rather calling out the hypocrisy of KU fans complaining of the booing in Hilton while there is just as much booing at AFH.

Then can we agree that at least the Kansas fan that posts the most on this site has NO PROBLEM with the booing at Hilton or at AFH and move on already?!? If you want to rant about KU fans complaining about it on a KU forum, man up and go over there and give them a hard time about it.

who was complaining? I don't give a flying fig what Kansas fans were complaining about.

My my point is simply that you claim that Kansas fans are above complaining. They are not. They are as bad or worse than any others.

I I hope you enjoy winning the conference and getting booted out of the ncaa by a 10 seed. You team might want to pretend they are playing iowa state more often.

You are are the one that has given Iowa state fans crap about booing. YOU. YOU.

i know this because I don't have enough free time to spend hours every day on a Kansas message board. You apparently are employed by no one and have time for such things.

I claim?!? Don't lump me in with other people. And if you have the ncaa tourney results available please send me a dopy. I'd love to win a billion dollar bracket. And maybe this year isn't the year to bust on KU for only getting up for the big games: "We get amped up against Kansas, but when we play Texas Tech, it's not the same outcome," said Morris, who scored 20 points. "We saw 'Tech' across their jersey and took them for granted. That's all it was." I'd be more than a little worried about how dialed in ISU will be against a team they view as beneath them in the ncaa tourney.

I'm pretty sure that practically no one on this board is interested in trying to make your life on CF any easier, Tuco. If you want to move on from this topic why don't you try not opening or posting in the thread? If you have a problem with what is posted on this Cyclone site, how about posting elsewhere instead? No one is forcing you to come on to CF and being the designated jayhawk apologist.

You obviously already have all of the "dopy" you can handle.
