That TCU loss was so historic, I would be okay with TCU hanging a banner in their building to commemorate it.
Couldn't have happened to a nicer fanbase.Of course you would. It was huge for you.

Good lord tuco. No wonder this fan base hates KU. You remind me of the UK troll on phog named hwker that is the defender of all things Kentucky. Everyone here knows the history. You don't have to run over here after a heated win and act as KU PR minister. Just my .02
Cyclones, full disclosure - have a few ISU friends here in Chicago, good game the other night. That is one of the reasons I love college hoops. Both squads left it all on the court. I feel like it's rare to see that kind of intensity outside of the ncaas.
And yes, KU players, coaches and fans wanted that one bad. The implications for the conference were very clear. And yeah, we hear the media talking ISU quite a bit these days. Personally, I don't mind. The pie is big enough that two teams from the conference can be threats. And when KU's conference streak comes to and end, I hope it is to you guys or another fan base equally passionate. And I know this isn't true of many ISU fans, but when it comes to the tourney I root for all big 12 teams. It hurt rooting for KSU last year instead of the upset but I did it.
On to basketball...my unsolicited opinion: neither ISU or KU has the same ceiling as last year. You guys miss Ejim. Hell, I miss him. You need another consistent scorer who can hit from anywhere. But here's how I know you guys are for real, you lost arguably your best two players and you're right back in the mix again.
As for the big 12 race, this thing is still wide open. One game and the whole complexion changes.
Anyway, just wanted to say hello in the middle of this cat fight and remind everyone it's just basketball.
TL,DR - Jeff Grayer was the greatest cyclone
Trade this guy for tuco. It is decided.Kansas fan here...

Nice post! It is nice to get a KU fan around here that isn't an arrogant, uninformed fool like tuco.
Obviously, Iowa State is trying to get where Kansas is as program (obviously without the great history). The exciting part for me is that I think we are getting closer to making that a reality. And I think that Bill Self, the Kansas players, and your more intelligent Kansas fans know that.
I do think that our ceiling isn't as high We miss Ejim and Kane a lot. I also think that last year was a very unique year for Iowa State. We won almost all of the close games last year and had two buzzer-beater shots to send games to overtime (or another overtime) that we eventually won. That just doesn't happen much. If we don't win the second one, at home against Oklahoma State to end the regular season, we end the regular season on a 3 game losing streak and who knows what happens in Kansas City. The team helped make their own luck, but some of that was just plain good luck. It's a really good sign in my opinion that we have been as strong as we have this year. In all honesty, it could have been a real rebuilding project and right now it looks like we have a pretty good shot at the NCAA.
That's hilarious. Can you imagine how many pages of venom would be spewed forward if I said that this year's ISU team had a lower ceiling than last years?!?
I think you should probably focus on HOW you would say it and WHY it might set some people off. Your reputation as a fool means that you don't get a lot of breaks from me.
I don't freaking care if you go on and on about Iowa State or Kansas on your own board. I do mind it when you are a ******* on this board. And I will call you out on it.

I'll give you a little hint.....if it bothers your fan base, don't expect it to stop. Coming here and complaining about it probably makes the booing worse. We're a fan base proud of our booing. If you find it appropriate or not is not a concern to us.
