So we've come back to talking about the Booniversity of Kansas? Why does our amount of booing bother them so much?
Booing correct calls is similar in spirit to flopping. ISU fans and Marcus Smart have a lot in common.

Yeah, that is what gets people riled up. Example of a typical compliment:
"You guys (ISU) played a great game. You guys overcame your lack of defense and rebounding and Kansas took advantage and absolutely destroyed you. We shot better, our defense was great, and Greene was unstoppable. The game wasn't even close. But you guys did play hard, good try. We have won 57 titles, by the way, and someday ISU might win one. I'll be rooting for you guys to make the Big12 better, as Kansas can't carry the load forever."
Give it time. Chances are someone on here will antogonize him to the point he becomes a troll or leaves. Its the nature of messag boards.
Not asking you to stop.... just to own up to it. Which you just did.

Iowa State fans didn't boo any more in the KU game in Ames than the Kansas fans did on Monday night.

That's hilarious. Can you imagine how many pages of venom would be spewed forward if I said that this year's ISU team had a lower ceiling than last years?!?

No one boos like ISU fans. It's close between you guys and KSU fans, but ISU fans are the only fans that boo their own team's intentional fouls.

Do they hang banners for who boos less or more? No? Then boo all you want, I don't care. And who knows if ISU is actually the biggest threat in the Big 12 these days. Most thought they were at the beginning of the year but people also thought Texas was good at the beginning of the year and now they look NIT bound. Ask me that question in five years and I'll have a better answer for you. Right now KU really doesn't seem to have a rival.
Considering that almost everyone on here feels that if Niang didn't get injured that ISU has a shot at the national title I find that hard to believe. So all they have to do is figure out how to play decent in their half court offense and avoid hero ball? Doesn't that seem like a pretty big thing to have to learn with only 5 weeks left in the season?!?I'd actually argue our ceiling this year is much higher. Ejim and Kane were the real deal, but they were the finished product. This year we have more moving parts, and those parts haven't come anywhere near to playing at their best. Last year's team knew how to grind it out, and used their guts to make up for a short bench and less talent than this year's. If these guys can figure out how to play half-decent 3pt defense and stop trying to hit the home run every play, look out.
So obviously I do seem to be in the minority in KU fans in regards to not caring about other fans booing. Huh. I do agree that ISU fans seem to boo with a bit more fervor but I have always just chalked it up to the general persecution complex atmosphere amongst many ISU fans that they are always getting screwed by the refs or the conference or some mystical karma. There seems to be years of frustration behind it so I get it. Like I have always said, go to town, it's part of what makes Hilton a tough road environment.I love that KU fan arrogance extends even to their booing. Everything is simply more refined in Phog Allen Country Club. The plebeians of every other fan base can only hope to shine Jayhawk shoes for a living.
