Apparently that deserves a #13 raking WOW!
I think it has more to do with 22 wins.

Keep in mind Iowa State/UNI are nearly tied in points and Iowa State has 3 more losses. The voters have certainly factored in a difference in schedule. Certainly still up for discussion if enough difference was factored in.

More concerned with winning tonight and setting up a 2-team race with KU for the Big XII championship. We're still in the Top 25, aren't we? All this does is motivate the guys to make an example of the rest of the teams on the schedule.

#14 is about right, based on our defense, honestly. Get that CONSISTENTLY figured out and then we deserve to move up.

It usually seems that they are more reasonable with tournament seeding. No way UNI gets a higher seed than ISU even if we drop another game or two. They cant fill their own arena, and attendance seems to be a bigger and bigger part in the seeding of teams.

I can play that game as well

Top 100 RPI wins: Arkansas, At Iowa, Oklahoma St., At West Virginia, Kansas, Texas, Alabama, Georgia St.

Notable losses: At Baylor, At Kansas, neutral court against Maryland.

Your point?
The question was asked who the Panthers beat besides WSU as they weren't familiar with UNI's schedule. I answered. There was no point being made.

Well, most of you say this is our most talented team. We need to show it on the court instead of on paper. Have to win out and prove what you think, or we are what they say we are. No biggie, just might be a different seed than we deserve in March. No matter the seed we have to beat who they put on the schedule if we want to win it all.

Can't knock UNI when they are beating up on their conference using the players that are recruited to play that level of ball. I get that you don't think those hard-working SOBs up North are worthy, but maybe they are. We'll see in March.

For the guy that wanted it...

I don't care about week to week rankings that much. I think ISU is so wildly inconsistent it wears on AP voters minds.

If we played very consistant with all of our talent we would be a top ten team no doubt. But laying eggs at Baylor and tech like we did, doesn't help our case.

UNI is a good team, and they play consistant. They will get the nod over ISU under those circumstances. Now you put ISU vs UNI both teams playing their best ball, ISU would thump them badly.

AP poll has ZERO to do with NCAA tournament selection.

There is a very valid reason for this. Our name is Iowa State, and Not Notre Dame or Arizona. Less sexy for the Voters who really dont pay attention to everything they should.
