ideal for next year. Correct me if I'm wrong, he only has one year of eligibility, right? So does Max B? So great pair for next year. Tyler who looks like a tall small forward. Three pointers, ball handling, above the rim, anf max who isn't afraid to battle inside. Fight for a rebound and get the basket. Great for 15/16, but two more empty spots for 16/17. Sets us up for huge losses after this coming year.

Harris is a great pickup for next year. We really need a guy that can play a 3/4 and to add size. Harris is definitely that guy, and could be a "missing" piece for next year where most are expecting ISU to have a good shot at Houston.

Max B doesn't seem like a kid that would get a lot of PT, and I think that scholarship would be better spent on someone that could sit out and develop ready to play in 16/17 for a year or 2.

Yea I don't understand why everyone's saying to take both. It's better suited for ISU to bank a scholarship for the enevitable mid-season transfer. If it doesn't happen then its one free schollie for 16-17. Not worth the risk just to take a bench warmer to 10-12 minutes guy.

I'm still holding out hope that the staff is involved with Kyle Washington. Would be perfect for that last scholly and helps transistion into the 16-17 season.

A guy with three years of playing experience who only makes 42.1% of his field goals including 28.6% from behind the arc seems like he should be sitting on the bench all season. I think any of our bench warmers last season were better than that.

Are you kidding me? Go look at others FG% on our team last year and 3pt%. Ridiculous post. I really hope that all these potential transfers don't read this ****. I'd take Harris in a heartbeat. Kid is a lefty, seems to play decent defense, has the ability to hit the 3 occasionally and runs the floor really well for a big guy and Handles the rock well. Played in a decent conference and is ready to play his last year and lay it all out on the floor with ISU possibly. Oh and he's 6'9 and a PF!! What is wrong with some of you on here?

this kid is exactly who we need. Really hope Fred lands him because the later it gets the less options we have. Landing a solid rotation PF for this years team puts this team in a great position to have a historic year IMO.

We absolutely are not going to take both. We weren't going to take a 5th year guy until Williams left. Most likely to happen IMO:

Nick Noskowiak
5th year big (preferably Harris)
Transfer that has to sit out with at least two to play

I'd be more concerned about Auburn snatching him up the following weekend. Bruce Pearl? Need I say more?

His father says he wants to go to a school where he'd have a chance to win the national championship. And then he schedules a visit to Auburn.

Like a poster said a above, how could anyone not want this guy? He is 6'9, can shoot some, and at the very least will provide solid minutes in a role. Is more game ready than any JUCO or HS kid we could get...

In an ideal world, every transfer would go to a team start play 30 minutes on a championship team if given the choice. Reality is it is rare for a top 15 team to have a situation like that available, once a top level transfer realizes his options often will opt for the playing time at a lower program in order to increase his pro prospects. ISU, with the loss of DW and probably not getting CD, now has those minutes to provide to Harris. That said he will have to be content comming in as a 3 or 4th option, and may opt for an bigger role.

Auburn will be improved next year with Pearl, not to championship levels but I wouldn't be suprised with top half of the SEC and possible a NCAA birth. Georgia Tech isn't going anywhere this year or the next few in ACC, so I don't see the fit there other than being the focal point of the offense.

Harris would be a great pick up and I would have to think ISU would be the favorite right now since the other two schools aren't very good. Him and Noskowiak would make a great weekend. that to me would be enough to put them top 5 preseason next year.
