Re: BLUM: The Mayor's dilemma

I did. I brought up the dinner and the fact that Paige is not fulfilling her "dream to go to ISU" and the Otz situation but no one liked it. Whatever. This thing has been going on a lot longer than people think and I am not sure it's not part of the reason we weren't ready for UAB.
You're 100% spot on.

Re: BLUM: The Mayor's dilemma

Closing this thread as its run its course and is running in parallel to the other big sky is falling, tinfoil hat conspiracy theory, ISU nutcup, we always get the short end of the stick thread.

Re: REPORT: Alvin Gentry, not Fred Hoiberg, favorite to replace Tom Thibodeau

Dont need a press conference just a tweet. NBA talk is one thing. This is WAY beyond that and has torpedoed our recruiting now so at this point it's hurting the program. No way the Mayor would do that if he wasn't jumping ship. No way. As much as I love Hoiberg, I love the program more. It's time to put this thing to bed and move on. Yes or No.

It costs nothing to listen, and the only thing possibly torpedoed is the 9th guy to hit the floor, and we can find that in June if we have to.

Damn it. Mods keep closing off parallel CFH to Bulls threads - I wanted to see if we could fill the top 10 spots with CFH threads.

CFH leaving, football season pending, fun hating mods. My life sucks.

Are you still holding out that this isn't happening? I think you were one of the ones bashing me and JSB back in the Lorenzo thread when we predicted all of this....

And you still haven't enlightened us as to how Lorenzo Romar of all people would know Fred was leaving a month ago.

I'll take the under. Tomorrow most likely.

So the Bulls will have compensation for Thibs lined up and signed for before they are allowed to do any trading?

Sorry to burst your bubble but if Fred is leaving, there won't be any official announcement by him or the athletic department until Thibs can officially be traded by Chicago to another team, and that's at the end of the playoffs.

Unless Chicago all of a sudden decided they want to dump Thibs for nothing and pay him a whole bunch of money in the process, which I highly doubt. We may start hearing more official grumblings about what's going on behind the scenes soon, but I seriously doubt anything official will be coming out until the end of the NBA playoffs.

Original thread locked, so all start a new one

GT ain't coming back if Fred leaves.......just as called out earlier when all the mass deniers claimed " no way Fred leaves, and GT is just saying he is heading home for summer"....LOL, 3 scholarships most likely available for next season

So you don't think TJ told him he is coming back with a chance to eventually take over the program.....you all still think Lorenzo was just randomly babbling......

lol wow, that's priceless.

Laugh if you want but this is confirmed by my sources in the athletic department. You are all blind if you can't see this illuminaticonfirmed conspiracy right before your eyes.

Oh please, Note to Pollard never ever hire someone with ISU ties ever again because the butt hurt if they ever choose to move on to a better opportunity is beyond belief.

Oh the hell with it, lets fire Pollard while we are at it. He hired Hoiberg knowing up front Fred wanted to coach in the NBA someday. Pollard clearly screwed up this hire too.

congrats, you completely missed my point.

It does make you wonder if Royce is making his NBA comeback so that his old college coach can pick him up for summer league.

I don't know what TJ said to Romar, and neither do you. I have my doubts that back in April anyone outside of the Hoiberg family would know Fred's intentions.

"Eventually take over the program" could also mean Fred stays and grooms TJ. We'll find out soon
