Hines now getting in on the Daniyal Robinson stuff - tweeted it a few minutes ago.

I'm sure it has been discussed, but I don't see much on Tim Fuller getting a look. Anyone know if there has been any discussion along those lines?

You're just naming his recruits. Babb, Allen and other transfers were Hoiberg's targets. I'm sure TJ did the legwork but Fred closed the deal. Young Babb and Noskowiak are complete unknowns at this point. Ejim is the one guy who has been through ISU, became an AA and led a sweet 16 team. That's my criteria, just like everyone else has theirs. If TJ stays, I'll support it, but he is not make or break for this program going forward. And he better start bringing in 4 and 5 stars if he does stay because his recruiting prowess has been way overblown at this point.

Do you know what recruiting is?

I wonder if Ken Miller will respond to this. I'm expecting he'll go down the "you can't believe everything you see on twitter there is obvious friction between these two" road even though he uses random message boards posts on his show as gospel.

Yep, and TJ isn't the only person in the world who can recruit. But feel free to leave your head up his butt. My point still stands. He does not make or break this program.

I don't think anyone thinks he could make or break are program (I could be wrong) but that he is a good recruiter and he recruits a region that fits nicely for Iowa State. And especially at this point in time there probably isn't any better option than TJ.

Hold the press...Ken Miller was sensationalizing something?

Here nor there
TJ is far overblown on this board, but he would be a good hire at any time and it is mid-June 2015 and we have little in the pipeline. Normally he wouldn't be a make or break guy, but given what the alternatives look like, retaining him is critical to the success of Prohm's tenure IMO.

TJ's recruiting is overvalued on CF, but that is more of a statement of CF than TJ. His coaching is undervalued though. He is a good overall assistant.

I'm confused. One day it's give TJ a raise because he didn't know Fred was leaving. The next day is the only reason the Niangs don't like TJ coming back because that meant Fred was leaving.

Will you TJ nuthuggers make up your minds? You can't have it both ways.

There is no reason to make this a pro vs anti TJ thing.

He's no longer in the running for the HC position.

We're talking assistant here, which we should all be able to get behind, because if he takes the job, it means Prohm's on board.

Has he actually said this on the air? I had to give up on that show
