UI enrollment has lagged recently because the University is still finishing off major rebuilding/replacement projects from the devastating flood several years ago. Last Fall ISU had total enrollment of 34,732. UI 31,387. ISU has 28,893 undergrads. UI 22,354. ISU has 5542 graduate and professional students. UI 9033. One could therefore reasonably assume the overall student body IQ is higher in Iowa City. However, ISU's Family Sciences Dept is thriving with the numbers of jucos and dismissed (from other programs) transfers coming in to slap on Clone basketball and football jerseys.

No such thing at ISU. Therefore I question anything you write as fact.

Really sucks to suck, doesn't it? Too bad those floods didn't destroy more of the trash in that city.

Now Ribs, let's not get hostile. Wash this down with some good whiskey.

US NEWS LATEST ACADEMIC RATINGS 2014/2015
(I'll summarize the B10 and B12 for you)

13 Northwestern
29 Michigan
42 Illinois
47 Wisconsin
48 Penn State
53 Texas
54 Ohio State
62 Purdue
62 Maryland (tie)
68 Tex A&M (bailed out)
70 Rutgers
71 Iowa
71 Minn 71 Baylor(tie)
76 Indiana 76 TCU(tie)
85 Mich State
88 Colorado (bailed out)
99 Neb (bailed out) 99 Missouri (bailed out)
106 Iowa State
106 Kansas (tie)
106 Oklahoma (tie)
142 K State
145 Okla State
156 Tex Tech
168 W Virginia

7 of 10 B12 schools rank lower than the lowest ranked B10 school
5 B10 schools rank higher than the highest ranked B12 school
The B10 just added Maryland and Rutgers, both of which rank higher than 9 of the 10 B12 schools
The lowest ranking B10 school came from the B12
The 4 schools that bailed from the B12 are all ranked higher than 7 of 10 current B12 schools
They weren't joking when they said Neb's move to the B10 lowered the IQ of both conferences.
Maybe US NEWS is in conspiracy with the B12 officials, and the NCAA waiver committee. Think about it.

Sorry, I stand corrected. It's Family 'and Consumer' Sciences. Earlier this year I saw an ISU basketball roster that included majors. It was listed for about half of the roster. I think they took it down - can't find it anymore. I think it's another name for Home Economics.

Should I keep going? Or I could post a bunch of silly lists where ISU is ranked higher than iowa. Get some real material or just go away.

Still wrong. It's College of Human Sciences (began in 2005 from combining College of Family and Consumer Sciences with College of Education.) http://www.hs.iastate.edu/about-2/departments-centers/

Maybe you are thinking of "Department of Human Development and Family Studies" in CHS.

In the grand scheme of things, not a big deal.

Players in low income housing infuriated me more than their attendance numbers. And when Ferentz's kid was one of them, it showed his true colors when he "played dumb" when asked about it.

It's funny how people forget that stuff. I almost had. To the day hawk fans will lie and say there was no one waiting for those apartments when the reality is there were disadvantaged people waiting to get in for years. The press again had to divulge that after the story broke.

Facts can be tough on hawk fans.
