He was? And dont throw out his comp %, either. Thats been proven time and time again that the comp % doesnt tell the whole story.

Im not saying he was worlds better, but if he was the better QB last year, wouldnt he still be starting at Iowa, instead of Michigan? Or do you know more than the coaches?

If CJB was better wouldn't Rudock have transferred 2 years ago?

Get tired of the B12 b10 thing.

if Sam couldn't beat NDSU and Kansas last year why would we think he could beat Northwestern, Indiana or Purdue?

Edge Goldie Locks: because he has a running game and a line. I think Sam hasn't had any time to pass the past years so he is damaged goods. Think Domestic Violence....wears on you.

CJ is young blood with nobody to back him up. Scares me.

He was the starter the entire season last year so yes I think it's safe to say he was the best QB. Your coach is one of the highest paid in all of college football and your fanbase made shirts that say "In Kirk We Trust". I guess I will trust Kirk on this one. I do think CJB will win some games that they wouldn't have won with Jake this season but I do think he'll lose a couple on his own too.

Beathard could be the second coming of ******* Dan Marino and it wouldn't matter with that roster of skill position players.

Sam didn't play against Kansas last year for one thing. He was injured. He's only played Kansas once in his career and destroyed them. Also, NDSU was better than Purdue, Indiana and Northwestern.

Until he lost his job to a younger, more raw QB

No, I'm not. I'm saying that you'll never convince CyTwins that CJB is the better option at QB. Never. Ever.

I agree. Everyone will find out a lot more about him Saturday, CyTwins may even be convinced.
It's amazing how similar Michigan's offense resembled Iowa's of last year. We're no longer inept at that position. Along with the RB.

If CJB plays well again Saturday I will absolutely be convinced. Like I've said over and over, he's done nothing to prove to me that he's an above average college QB

Me neither. I just know he's the better option for us than Rudock, as did KF, which is why he demoted JR and elevated CJB at the end of last season.

Jury is absolutely still out. How he responds Saturday will be a big tell.

Took him quite a while to figure that out though? In Kirk We Trust?

As far as which one is better, hard to say at this point. I'd take Sam based on experience, more weapons, & less likely to make a costly mistake (admittedly, may be some homerism in that choice).

I think QB depth should concern the hawks. Was it Tate who went down early in the '05 game that ended 23-3?? Could see a similar result if our upgraded defensive front keeps up their momentum.
