Especially when 5 of those teams are Iowa, Illinois, Purdue, Rutgers, and Maryland...stiff competition up and down the Big 10 this season. Just a complete **** conference. Hope you kept your OSU hat from last season.

All of those teams are better than ISU and Kansas and most are probably better than TTU and KSU

Wait just one second there... How could you possibly make a list of the most pathetic teams in the B1G and leave Indiana, Northwestern, Penn State, and Michigan off the list?

Those 4 programs combined to go 21-28 last season. Impressive.

I do see where Cotton-Moya was a 2* recruit and his only P5 offer came from a school who combined has won 5 games in 2 seasons. Sounds like a real stud.

Edit: Sounds like a real dud.

... You have to be a freshman and play to be considered. Most good teams don't start freshman d backs... because they're a good team.

That might be one of the dumbest things I've ever read on this site. Good teams don't start freshman because they're good teams? Really?

Just look at the freshman All-Americans... programs like Clemson, USC, Oklahoma, Florida State, Florida, Notre Dame, Texas, Utah, LSU, K-State, Oregon, UCLA, West Virginia, Miami, Arizona, Tennessee, South Carolina, etc... are teams that have had freshman All-Americans starting in their secondary and these are just the kids who were named to the team and not the ones that were in the mix and didn't make the cut. Your logic fails here... big time.

I would say that the Iowa DBs have the potential to be the best group since 2009 and 2010 but they haven't reached that yet.

I'd be lying if I didn't say that there's an ounce of truth to that, we'd all be lying if we ignored that fact that football players are predominately made up of black players.
Taylor has a faster 40 time than Sash, had better offers (once committed to Georgia Tech) and moves a lot more fluidly, able to change direction and jump to defend a pass. Sash was top heavy, as many plays as he made, few of them had anything to do with his athletic ability. Right place, right time.

Players are typically made up mostly of water, assuming they're humans.

He's just getting started in here. In the Iowa basketball recruiting thread, he has opined about the importance of pass first shooting guards.:spinny:

The proof is in the production on the field not how many stars some recruiting service puts next to his name or what other schools have offered a kid.

Iowa fans sure seem to love a kid named CJ Beathard... the chosen one... He must be a complete dud too as he was just a lower end 3* kid with offers from Iowa, Mississippi coming off of a 2-10 season, SMU, and Tulane. Based on his offers and rating that kid must absolutely suck right?

I'm guessing clearisildan also played football in college which is why he knows so much.

I would argue that UNI has just as much of not more talent in their d. backfield then Iowa. Hall and Kilfoy were ranked 1 and 2 in the MVC last year and were preseason AAs. Ma y think they will be playing on Sundays.
