This. Hoiberg isn't going to add fuel to the fire. Pollard also gave him his first shot at coaching so I wouldn't think he would say anything bad about Pollard.

Good on Hoiberg to give time to discuss this. Not sure what's going on with Hines publishing that, but with Hoiberg against you like that it can't be too much of an issue. If there was something going on he would just avoid the situation like when all the rumors were swirling regarding the Bulls job.

If Fred comes out and backs up JP's story....then Hines looks like an *******. Problem is.......the perception is already out there now, and unfortunately, the national reporters covering and re-tweeting the "juicy" story are not likely to give the same coverage to JP's or Fred's comments. Damage is done. It sucks.

It sucks for JP, not for Iowa State if the perception sticks and we get a new AD.

Damn, good gets on Murph & Andy today. Hines, Pollard, and Fred.

I don't think Hines made anything up, I think he actually did hear those things but maybe his sources were a little biased and had axes to grind.

For Fred to come on with everything going on speaks volumes on this.
