Well raining out, odds of going to VB and FB are increasing. Haven't been to a FB game for about 5 years. I wish I knew if some of my college friends still have tickets and tailgate. It's more fun if I know someone if I get there. Don't mind BB by myself because you just show up watch and leave, plus I've had same tickets for a while and know the people around me. Maybe I'll make a couple of calls tomorrow a.m. and see if they still go. I should go just to take my niece to the TIPTOP for beer and chili she's been there almost 4 years and never went, everyone should do it at least once.

Not sure who the gal was singing on James Coburn but I kind of liked it sort of old school good saxophone in song also.

Coney Island Hard Root Beer.

Actually pretty good stuff. Typically I wouldn't buy something like that, but I love me some root beer. It tasted pretty much like root beer. Can only drink one, because it's so sweet, but it was pretty good stuff.

Things seen in Hy-Five at 4:45 AM:

Homeless guy bringing his 3 gigantic garbage bags of cans back.
Random college aged-ish woman on her cell phone who asked me what the address was for Hy-Vee...the building she was standing in. I looked at the front door and got the address number.

I'm guessing she asked me because I looked less creepy than the guy who was working there. But, I've been on a streak of women asking me questions in Hy-Vee. Last week a woman asked me where the steak sauce was.

Covering again?

Cortisone cream helped the burns.

Little Wx sleeps late during the week and is up by 7 today. Being a parent is awesome.

Nah, had some stuff to get done, and trick or treating tonight, so getting up at 4 means I'll have some more time with the family instead of slaving away by myself while mrs00 plays with the kids all day. Next weekend I have a retreat at church, so I won't get a thing done. Will be out of breakfast burritos, wanted to get them made now since I won't next week. Also kept saying I needed to get chicken stock made, the freezers looked like a poultry serial killer with bags and bags of chicken bones. So, got the breakfast burritos made last night, got up early to run to Hy-vee and get the pressure cooker going. Now, straining it, and hamburger bun dough in the bread machine. Hoping by noon to have everything buttoned up for today, then I'll pressure can the broth tomorrow.

Edit: Yeah, little00 grumps to get up for school every day, and this morning he was up at 5:45.

Yesterday at the post office I saw a guy wearing an embroidered jacket from the movie The Ant Bully. A mediocre animated movie from 10 years ago that nobody remembers or would recognize nowadays. Bold move.
