Said 5 game suspension not for academics, but for impermissible benefits. Last year Alexander, and now Diallo. Of course Self doesn't have any idea how these backhanded benefits could possibly happen. :skeptical:
Come on people........they only cheated a little. By KU Standards that nothing.

You do realize that there IS no defined punishment in the ncaa policies that add up to a 5 game suspension, right? they have a nice little chart where this many dollars equals this percentage of games and 5 of 31 games isn't a percentage on that chart. NCAA trying to avoid admitting they screwed up.

“I am very happy he’s eligible,â€￾ Self said, “but I will say, me personally, I do not agree with the contents of the (NCAA’s press) release. I’ll just leave it at that. This was an academic issue and regardless of what’s been said, it was an academic issue.â€￾

I don't know what Self is talking about. Didn't Diallo's side report $165 in impermissible benefits from Cheick's guardian before he was his guardian. Pretty silly in the grand scheme of things, but they can't just let it go, even for KU.

Self even ******* when his team got the calls against ISU. I don't really
believe him in this round of whining either.

That's the rumor now. $165 worth of food while Diallo was living with him but before the guardian paperwork had been finalized in court is Example #4,856 that the NCAA has hopelessly lost their way.

Shouldn't KU vacate any win from last season in which Cliff Alexander played? I would think a stand up character like Self would really want to show everyone KU stands up against impermissible benefits and breaking the rules.

Feel free to brush up on the NCAA bylaws and their penalties. They are available online with a few simple google searches. Games are forfeited if a player who played in them is found to have received impermissible benefits. Sorry, no luck. You'll have to win one the old fashioned way.

Kansas' public relations temper tantrum allows them to have a player that has
an agent.

You don't follow AAU basketball much, do you? If that guy is an agent then every team in a P5 conference has a player with an agent.

Dude, go back to the KU forums and stroke your ego and enjoy your pitty party over there. The fact that you have time to care or hang out on our boards is laughable anyway. Do you think you serve justice to your team by going on other teams boards? Do you chill out on other boards for other teams?

Go away.

You didn't know what a 990 was. Ok so I don't follow aau basketbaal, I do know tax and I know the agent claims to have a foundation but it certainly isn't for anyone's benefit but his own.
