I was told by someone at the game they thought it was Monte's mom or someone in his family.
I would feel bad having to kill a family member if his but it may have to be done.
I didn't realize they were short handed for the Chattanooga game. Explains a lot. For the first game with their lineup - they're a good team - could be a real rpi booster for us.
Unfortunately, my grandson and I sat right in front of the screamer, about half way thru the first half, my 12 year old grandson asked me if it was alright to turn around and tell her to shut-up. I told him no, but I almost did it myself! She had a passion for telling the refs how to do their jobs, I should of suggested she move to the front row so the refs would be able to hear her.
It was very interesting that after the lob dunk by Nadar it was like George and Monty decided to take over the game and they did and we pulled away. It was fun to watch.
In person Illinois looked very good when that big center was in the game. He stays healthy they will cause real problems for Big 10 teams.
Is it normal for a fanbase to be so obsessed with what others think of their team? We hang on every word we read in the press, on other teams' message boards, etc. When are we going to start acting like we have a legit top 5 team and one of the better cbb programs in recent years?
This from a poster trying to escalate the latest twittergate. Is it normal for a fanbase to be so obsessed with what others think of their team? From what the conversations I've had with other Illinois fans is that they aren't happy with Groce so anything that happens negatively gets overblown. They are cautiously optimistic about this Illinois team, but the next loss will probably establish Groce as the scapegoat again for some of their more vocal fans. That's at least what I gather, but there are some fans here that are more intimate with the situation.I was reading the comments on espn after the game report. They were saying the Illini coach was totally incompetent.
Just saying, no dog in the hunt.
