I am implying that Illinois fans should quit complaining about their coach and be amazed that their team that has been decimated by injuries has done as well as they have this year. Players are either still missing or have missed the vast majority of their offseason practice. That they have any continuity at all is a pretty clear indication that their coach is doing a great job.
I disagree, and it’s not because you’re a Kansas fan. I simply disagree with the statement “they had no business giving ISU the game they didâ€. Illinois is a solid team, which anyone could see after watching them play in this tournament. They shot well, but when ISU turned it up on D and put Nader on Hill, we pulled away, like a good team does. It just seemed like a random shot directed at a team beating a decent P5 team at a neutral site far away from home.
