Anyone else wish that he took some games off to start the season? He hasn't been himself recently and it's well known he's not a 100%. I think he should, at the very least, take next game off. He needs time to recover.

Maybe when Burton gets back we can ease him back a little? Something doesn't seem right with his shot.

His shooting motion looks rushed. He's had problems with that in the past. I'm sure the hips are playing some role.

He couldn't hit, but he made some key rebounds and played good defense.

H has been blazing on or horribly off this season ( more horribly off). He was 6-7 against CSU, (and I think the same in the exhibition which obviously doesn't count), take that game out and he is 10-48 in the other 7 games ( 21%}...such a good guy and brings so much to the team emotionally and via leadership...here is to hoping he gets his body and mind back where he needs them to play the way we know he can....

This is stupid and kinda off topic but I just saw a video of him being introduced and they spelled his name wrong on the videoboard. Anyone else see this?

I want Naz on the floor all the time. Yes, he played bad tonight. But he has earned a spot, and he has been good at times so it clearly isn't just the injury that is bothering him. I'd rather have him work through whatever is going on during the non-con than when the games really matter. Of course I'll recant if it is the injury that is the problem, but I doubt they'd be playing him against the bad teams if that is really the problem.

He was off tonight; had some open looks and couldn't knock them down. We could have had the lead with 1.5 if he knocked it down.

I'm kinda more concerned about Nader; 13-minutes and 2 pts. I hope he keeps a good attitude and doesn't let this get in his head, but coach put him on the bench tonight for a reason

After all these years he still short arms it about 70% of the time. He also has been leaning to the side.

I was a little worried about this, too. But I noticed at a timeout with a few minutes left, he was the only guy that was up to meet the players as they walked to the bench, clapping and showing enthusiasm.

Really? I realize he had a bad game, but so far this year he's played very well for us. Before tonight, he was averaging 14.6 ppg. Naz was averaging 12.9 coming in, for comparison. Nader shooting 32% from three on the year. Naz shooting 27%.

Nader has exceeded my expectations this year overall, and Naz still looks rusty to me.

While Long shot was not falling tonight, his defese was GREAT.

Also, Nadar didn't see much time in the second half because Matt Thomas was the only one who could stop Uthoff.

Prohm needs to play the guys that are getting the job done with the right match ups. McKay against Illinos and Nader tonight. Last year Nader was the star against EIU.

He said himself that he was only 75% not too long ago. I just want to make sure we have him 100%. We need him.

Naz made a heady move tonight. With 20 seconds left in the game, he and Georges took their sweet time mopping up the floor and got an extra 30 seconds to catch their breath and get G right.

Yes, this was the smartest move of the game by two seniors. They basically got a free timeout. Decided to go get the towels themselves... walked over to get them... walked back... scrubbed a little bit... then I remember one of them pointed to a spot as if to say "You missed a spot" and the other scrubbed a little bit more. We needed that breather.

Naz is a gamer. He's had multi-game slumps in the past, only to come roaring back when his teammates need him. I wouldn't worry.

He ran into some foul trouble in the 1st half and wasn't able to get into a rhythm. But looked as excited as anybody on the bench when ISU was making the run.
