Let's just say this: If you thought of it, you should disagree with yourself. If a reporter thinks of the same thing as you, you should disagree with both of you.

They actually rarely know anything and very much speculate.

He isn't really a reporter anymore. He used to be but now he is an entertainment guy for ESPN. Still calls himself a reporter but these guys are the equivalent of newpaper sports columnists or radio talk dudes.

Is he saying "very good" as in an upper echelon team or "aren't gonna be very good" as in worse than middle of the pack?

Not sure. I read it like he thinks we'll be jsb level next year, but I could be wrong.

Also, I propose that we can now use "jsb" as a verb meaning "panic," "suck," or "fail." The last one would go hand-in-hand with the term "windmill."

Re: Long Out Rest of Season

That's a pretty selfish plan by ISU coaches if you are right. What if he doesn't get the medical redshirt?

I don't see the "selfish plan" angle, every kid wants to play.

It was more in the "give it a go and see what happens" mode.

Is anybody else getting concerned that we will not have enough guard minutes to go around next year between Cooke, Long, Thomas, Jackson, and maybe Morris? Team chemistry may suffer.

Just kidding, I'm just ******* with you guys.

FYI there is no truth to the suggestion the Naz is interested in any way in transferring. The guy loves ISU and will play his last game in Cardinal and Gold, at the conclusion of next season.

Completely agree with this statement, but do you have inside info that confirms this thought?

Like I said, I doubt he gets it. Or maybe he'll just be done with basketball. I sort of doubt he'll really want to play on next year's team.

Why not? He doesn't want another chance to play in the NCAA tournament? Makes sense.
