He doesn't make apologies for what ISU isn't, he celebrates all the great things we are! The fact that folks at EIU are worried is just a bonus.

I just counted 11 conference championships on top of 5 national championships as a coach and player. So yeah - a lie it is.

Campbell won six conference championships at Mount Union as a player and assistant coach. He has won exactly zero conference championships above the Division-III level. 6 + 0 = 11? I suppose that's what an Iowa State degree gets you.

Jamie Pollard could hire someone who has never even seen a football before and the majority of the fan base would be predicting 7 wins and a bowl game the next season. Case in point- the ISU athletic department puts up a completely misleading and factually inaccurate info graphic and State fans lap it up like little kittens at a saucer of milk. It's entertaining.

I think that's a terrific infographic. Not sure what the fuss is? Anything about it a lie or misleading? Wouldn't you want your kid to play for a winner?

I'm usually a little sensitive to the corny marketing, but I also didn't think the infographic was that bad. It isn't ISU's fault that people are misinterpreting what it represents. It's meant to show his roots in a winning culture, not to represent his coaching career entirely. We shouldn't have to apologize because a bunch of Hawk turds didn't understand.
